So, perhaps it was a mistake to keep you all in the dark for the Deomilites plot. I was hoping to keep you all excited and questioning what would happen next, but it seems like it has caused a lot of confusion. I'd also like to say that I'm extremely nervous making this because I didn't consult the others beforehand and might say something that isn't true or set in stone, but idgaf #yolo gedin dis dun 2nite. I'll take this announcement down if it's an issue.
So if you're still wondering what on Earth's name is going on, what this whole Deomilites thing is, and if the admins did all the drugs and are looking to kill every character on the site, I'll do my best to explain without giving actual plot spoilers.
First thing's first, this is the opening stages of the storyline on Warrior Clan Cats. An actual storyline orchestrated by the admins here, and not whatever jumbled nonsense we had before the reboot. That might raise more questions, so let me try to answer them in advance before being bombarded with comments. You may have noticed that I redid the
Deos Vult Plotting Page. You might also notice that it says Story Arc #1 instead of Sitewide Plot #1. So yeah. I've come to this part where I try to elaborate on story arcs and the concept of it being episodic, but I'm scared that I may say something stupid or that Jay and/or Rain might not like or something they're not initially clear on, so I'll move on to the next part.
The Deomilites are, obviously, the antagonists of this particular plot... arc... Basically, they're antagonists. And because Falcon and Sunny mostly got the theme down and because it should be painstakingly obvious at this point, they're Crusaders. THERE. I SAID IT. IT'S WHY THEY'RE RUNNING AROUND KILLING PEOPLE AND TALKING ABOUT THEIR GODS. Perhaps it's just obvious to me because I picked out the hints and know everything about the plot, BUT I DON'T GIVE A F--
Okay. Please, let me make this clear. I really, really,
really hope you know that we're not going to remove the Clans from the site. We're not going to make everyone join the Deomilites. We're not going to kill everyone. We're not going to kill anyone unless you want your character to be killed, which you shouldn't because of
reasons I have explained. There's a reason we told SkyClan to flee when their HP hits zero unless you want to be captured and taken prisoner. When I tell you that the Deomilites is going to murder you all, I don't mean it literally. I got a surprising amount of questions about this, and let me just say this:
You really shouldn't give up hope so easily. Even if things look bad or the odds seem skewed against you, you can't just ask if it's a waste of time to fight back. That would make you guys like, the lamest protagonists ever. So even if you guys do end up losing, you guys better have given them hell on the way there >:c
And with that, I leave you for now.
