Derping with Kes

Icepaw looked behind his should and nodded a 'no' "I understand how you feel about me." He said, waiting for her to say something.

Kestrelpaw was lost of words. "Come back." she said again.

Icepaw turned, running away.

She sighed, looking to Silentfeather, silently asking her what to do.

Silentfeather mewed "I thought so. I knew it from the start, you love Icepaw. Why? If you wanted to love him, why become a medicine cat?"

Kestrelpaw looked down. ” Because I love my clan too.” She mumbled. Would Silentfeather not allow her to be a medicine cat now?

Flamestar decided to step in and help. "Don't worry. It happens to many medicine cats. But you must choose who you are loyal to most: The clan or Icepaw. I just hope you make the right choice. Icepaw needs you, but so does your clan. You must decide who needs you more." He meowed calmly, though there was a glint of a challenge in his eyes.

"Flamestar's right. You need to decide Kestrelpaw. Until then, I will work as the only medicine cat in the Clan. I'm sorry, but you need to decide before I can complete your training. Well, I'll be going to check on Coldheart and Larchkit." Silentfeather mewed, sadness and hurt in her eyes as she spoke those words and headed to her den to pick up some catmint.

OOC: Coldheart and Larchkit will not be RPed, so don't worry!

Kestrelpaw's eyes widened in shock. She hung her head. "But Flamestar, I already know. I do love Icepaw, yes. But I want to be a medicine cat! I won't become his mate, I swear! Please Flamestar!" she begged, sobbing. "Please. My clan needs me. I need to be a medicine cat. I chose the clan!" she said, delirious with worry.

Silentfeather was finding the catmint when her ears pricked up, hearing what Kestrelpaw said.

Flamestar flicked his ear. "Calm down...It's alright. You are perfectly fine being in love with a cat, just as long as you are just friends and no more." He murmured reassuringly. "However, it's up to Starclan whether they still trust you or not."

"I promise!" she wailed at the sky. "I promise StarClan! You know what I said to him!" she screamed, running into the medicine den blindly.

Silentfeather was surprised when Kestrelpaw came, and clumsily dodged, tripping over. "Oooof!" she cried as she fell. "What are you doing Kestrelpaw?..." Silentfeather mewed as she picked up the herbs she knocked over, her eyes didn't show anything. Her voice seemed awfully soft and unusual. Silentfeather seemed to have been heart-broken by the fact that Kestrelpaw was in love with Icepaw, so she was depressed and wished StarClan could have done something to stop Kestrelpaw. She didn't want to believe StarClan anymore since they couldn't help.

Kestrelpaw burst into teats, laying in her nest and burrying her head into it. "I didn't mean for this to happen! Yes, I love Icepaw, but I told him we can never become mates! I did! I swear Silentfeather! StarClan and being a medicine cat and helping my clan is the most important thing to me!I can't stop. Please don't make me! I'm so sorry Silentfeather." she wailed helplessly.

"I see... But this should have never happened at all if StarClan helped us. I won't make you stop, but I feel StarClan has abandoned us. I've felt it for a while now, since you became my apprentice. I don't understand anything!" Silentfeather blurted out, not even knowing what to do anymore.
