Kitten in the camp :D

"That's a mouse, young one." She looked sternly at the kit, "but you must not play with your food. StarClan would be offended." Redfern chided.

"I learned that lesson when I was a kit the hard way," laughed a new voice; partially muffled. Entering the camp was the Clan deputy, Frozenfoot. He trod over to the fresh-kill pile and placed a fair-sized rabbit atop it. Licking his lips, he sat down next to Redfern.

"Welcome back, Frozenfoot. Oh and thank you, Mosspelt." Lionstar purred, neatly eating the mouse until it was just bones. He buried the remains and closed his eyes, thanking starclan a moment for the prey. "I hope your hunt went well." He finally said, looking back at his deputy.

A small tabby kitten yawned and stretched. She walked over to the other cats. She watched them a while, listening. "Hi!" she chirped suddenly.

OOC: I hope you don't mind me joining ^^;

Mosspelt looked over at the other kit and purred "Hello"

"I'm sorry, Redfern." Dewkit said, standing up and dipping her head to the she-cat. "I didn't mean to hurt their feelings..." She looked at the other kit joining them and jumped up and down, excited to see another young cat. "Hi! I'm Dewkit! Who are you?"

"I'm Brightkit." the tabby said excitedly. "It's nice to meet you."

ic: Lionstar nodded. "Well now that you have a playmate I should really get to doing something useful." He mewed, looking around a moment. "Mosspelt, would you like to go hunting?" He asked.

Mosspelt nodded "Sure Lionstar"

Frozenfoot nodded a greeting to Lionstar and Mosspelt, and then drew his attention back to the kits. ThunderClan was a small Clan at the moment, and the silver-pelted deputy figured that encouraging the younger generation was a way of strengthening them. Aside from his duties as Lionstar's right-hand tom, he often spent time with the kits. "So, are you guys excited to be apprentices?"

"Yeah!" She cheered. "I'll be the best hunter! No, the best fighter! No wait, I'll be the best hunter. No, fighter. Or maybe hunter. Yeah, hunting sounds good! Ok, no. I lied. I want to be the best fighter! Wait, I know! I'll be the best of both!" Having ended the fight with her self, she smiled happliy, wishing to herself that she could be an apprentice now.

"You'll be an apprentice soon enough." Lionstar purred. "Alright, let's go." He mewed to Mosspelt.

Brightkit nodded. "I'm not looking to be a warrior though." she told the older cat.

"Oh, really? You want to be a medicine cat?" inquired Frozenfoot. "That's a difficult task, you know, but it's certainly not impossible." He gestured towards the medicine cat close by. "Just ask Redfern."

"That sounds boring. Who doesn't want to hunt for the Clan, or fight off enemy invaders? Just thinking about it excites me!" Dewkit stated, excitement clearly showing.
