Kitten in the camp :D

Light blue eyes peeked out of the nursery as an even lighter gray kit began to explore the camp for the first time. So far, having no littermates, she felt kind of lonely. And, as inquisitive as she was, she wanted to go outside and explore. So, slowly, the small kit stretched out a fluffy paw, one at a time. until she emerged fully from the nest of brambles. Smiling and blinking repeatedly in the strong light, she felt her body rush with excitment. "Wow!" She exclaimed out loud. "It's so big and bright!" Her voice was squeaky. "So many smells! I can't wait to smell them all!" Hurriedly, she began to press her nose to the ground and follow a smell, not looking where she was going.

Mosspelt had been sitting in the clearing and chuckled when the small kit bumped into his leg "Hello"

The tiny she-cat stared up at the great big warrior with huge eyes.
"You're a giant!" She exclaimed, hopping up and down with great enthusiasm. "How do you get that big? Why are you that big? What are you doing? Why can't I be that big? When do I get to be that size? Will I ever be that size? Why isn't your fur fluffy? My fur is fluffy. You must get cold at night. You smell weird! I wonder what I smell like? Do I smell good? Do I even smell at all? What about how I look? Do I look weird? Is it because you're sooo big? Why can't I be that big? How do you keep your eyes open so long? Why is it that-" The small cat continued to mewl on and on, almost usure of what she's saying, but still expecting answers.

Lionstar chuckled, padding over. "Aren't you a chatty kit." He purred in amusement. "Don't worry, you'll get bigger soon."

At Lionstar's flank sat Redfern, her eyes half closed as if smiling. "Don't worry little one. Train hard, eat lots, and eat your herbs," she added with amusement, "you'll outgrow Mosspelt. You'll tower over him!"

Mosspelt laughed at all the questions "You are hyper today arent you?"

ooc: Eat your verbs...?

ic: "Maybe." Lionstar chuckled in agreement to Redfern.

ooc: Let's wait for Silver.

"Yeah!" The small kit mewed. "I'll be so tall... taller that everyone! I'll be bigger than the trees, and I'll reach the clouds! What are clouds? And what're your names? I'm Dewkit! When can I train? That sounds fun!" Dewkit's eyes suddenly grey big and round as a bright orange butterfly flitted past and landed on her nose. It was hardly a second when she jumped up, scaring it away. Dewkit began leaping after it, missing but not giving up. She growled playfully as her small gray paws swished past the insect by mere hairs every time.

Mosspelt chuckled "I'm Mosspelt, nice too meet you" and watched as Dewkit bounded after the butterfly

"I'm Lionstar. Nice to see such an energetic kit. You'll make a great warrior when you're older." Lionstar purred.

OOC: Gahhhhh herbs xD

IC: Redfern nodded solemnly in agreement. "Just stay out of my den!" She added light-heartedly, laughing. The last thing she needed on her paws was ruined herbs!

Dewkit turned, forgetting the butterfly. "Are you a warrior, Redfern? I thought all warriors shared a den!"

"Redfern is our medicine cat." Lionstar explained. "She has her own den."

Mosspelt nodded and padded over to the fresh kill pile and pick 4 mice up by their tails he padded nck over and dropped them and scooted on per to Redfern and one over to Lionstar and one to Dewkit "Ever tried meat before?" he asked taking a big bite of his mouse

"Meat? No. I don't think so." She stared suspiciously at the dead mouse, giving it a good sniffing and a thorough expection before deciding that the mouse was 100 percent dead. "It smells so good!" She chimed before taking a giant mouthfull of the mouse almost her size. Having some trouble swallowing, Dewkit stubbornly continued to chew until she got it down her throat. "That was great! What is this?" She pawed the prey, too full to eat more. She didn't want to waste it, so she resorted to tackling it and rolling in the dust with it.
