Oh The Places We'll Go.

It was the middle of the night in the forest. All was silent. Nothing seemed wrong, until a certain absent-minded kit vanished from his nest. The kit was in the middle of a great journey -in his mind-, when he woke up to find himself not by his mother or siblings, but in the middle of a strange land. A chill ran down the little tabby's spine as he realized there was no way he could find his way back. Though he had not realized it, his dream of the long trek had become a reality. He was actually awake at the time, but was not paying attention to the fact that he had gotten up, and traveled all the way into WindClan territory.

Thistlekit looked down and noticed he was soaked to the bone. A ruff wind blew across the moor, only to make the kit shiver. The tom could hear a rustle in the grass not too far from where he stood. Despite the wetness, his fur bristled and he let out a little hiss. He could smell something coming for him, but the scent was strange. Nothing like RiverClan, that was.

Runningfoot trotted along with Stormeye on their hunting patrol. She stopped dead when she smelled RiverClan. A slight hiss escaped her mouth. Taking off she stopped when she saw a kit looking cat. It smelled of RiverClan and didn't know what to do with it. She waited for Stormeye.

The dark, large shape of Stormeye came out of the bush, his icy blue eyes cold as he fixed his eyes on the small kit. "Oh look, a lost kit, I wonder how he got here," he mused, as he padded next to the WindClan deputy.

Runningfoot looked at the kit and studied it. "We have to take him back to the camp and see where he came from, probably RiverClan, but we don't know."

Shivering, the little tom let out another small hiss. Though they posed no threat, Thistlekit still didn't trust the two strangers.

"Where am I! Did you take me from camp? Are you going to try and eat me?" he growled, trying to hide his fear. The kit let out a cough and shivered again.

Stormeye let out a small laugh, as he easily picked the kit up from the scruff, not minding Thistlekit's hiss. "Eat you? No, kit, we only eat rabbits and birds. No cats."

Runningfoot let out a chuckle as the kit commented about the WindClan warriors. Walking behind Stormeye, she made sure the kit wasn't going anywhere.

"Unhand me strange fiend! You will taste the wrath of Moonstar and Pantherclaw if you don't!" he mewed, shaking around in Stormeye's grasp. He was having a little fun with this, seeing as his mind saw them as monsters who prey on innocent RiverClan kits. He was the brave warrior who would come to save his Clan, but was captured before he could do anything.

Stormeye suddenly froze, the kit banging against his chest as he did. "Did you say Moonstar?" he meowed, eyeing the kit the best he could. Then he suddenly realized that this was a game for the kit. "The oh-great Moonstar and Pantherclaw of RiverClan will never save you, little warrior!" he laughed, as he started to walk again.

Runningfoot shook her head, "They obivious don't care as look where you are. In WindClan territory. This is Stormeye and I am Runningfoot." She said with a slight snotty attitude towards RiverClan. She didn't care for the fishy smelling clan.

Though Stormeye's retort seemed to go along with his daydream, Runningfoot's comment seemed a bit more real. Tears began to well up in Thistlekit's eyes as he realized that her comment may be true.

"You're a liar! My parents do care for me!" the kit mewed, letting out another cough.

"They'll come for me! J-just you.. just you wai-" he began but soon drifted to sleep. He had gone through a rough night, so sleep had come to calm him.

Stormeye glared at Runningfoot, and let out a small sigh under his breath. "Rest well, little warrior, and we will see how to are feeling tomarrow."

The kit slumped in Stormeye's mouth. "What?" She said looking at Stormeye, she did nothing to him, what was with the look.

"The kit is far from his home, cold, and wet in the middle of the night. Do you think his parents know where he is?" Stormeye hissed under his breath so that Runningfoot could hear him, but not loud enough to wake up the kit in his jaws.

Runningfoot could tell that this was the beginning of a rocky relationship with the kit, whether he stayed in WindClan or returned to RiverClan.
