A training visit :3

Coldpaw opened his eyes to find himself out of his nest and in Dark Forest territory. He looked around for Scarlet or Happy, or just some one. He was ready for training, and boy did he have some news to tell them!

Scarlet was sitting there, giving a lecture to her son. Her ear careened when she sensed someone nearby. Turning, she recognized Coldpaw. "Welcome back, Coldpaw. You seem pretty confident," she mused, stretching her legs.

Sunnypaw ran in and pulled Cold out by his ear. "What did I tell you about the Dark Forest?!"

ic: Coldpaw nodded, rising to his paws. "Ready for training." He mewed flatly.

Scarlet watched him. "Oh, you are, are you?" She hopped off of the rock she was on and jumped in front of him. "Well, then, try to hit me," she sneered, cuffing his ear and began to swirl around him swiftly so that her fur was a blur of black.

Coldpaw narrowed his eyes, watching as nothing but a black mist was around him. His eyes flickered around. Suddenly he lashed out an unsheathed paw, just glazing her tail tip.

As she felt his claws just barely slicing the tip of her tail, she came out behind him, delivering a blow to the back of his head. She ran up the length of his back and leaped in front of him, grinning sinisterly, tail lashing. Scarlet suddenly began running circles around him some more, but began to hop over him and changing directions sharply. She started to lash out here and there, swiping the sides of him.

Coldpaw let out a roar, eyes narrowing and leaping forward, out of the circle of attack. He spun around as she was trying to hop over him and reared up, swiping Scarlet hard across the face.

Scarlet saw the flash of his paw, and bit down on it and began to slam down on his head, crashing down on his shoulders. She stood over him. "You're going to have to be better than than that!" she hissed, leaping off, tail lashing.

Coldpaw hissed angrily, his eyes flaming with an intensity that obviously showed he meant business. He disappeared in a swift flash of white, and everything was quiet. Suddenly, he burst out from above her, striking down, claws unsheathed, raking into her spine. "Is this good enough?!" He snarled, a red haze fogging his vision out of anger. His icy eyes sparked with shadows of hatred.

Scarlet bared her fangs, spitting. "I suppose by good, you mean compared to a kit!" she snapped, crouching down on her front legs and kicking back with her hind legs, tearing at his face with unsheathed claws. Then, she whipped around and hissed. She would have to discipline this apprentice and make fun of him if he were to do better. Because that's the only answer. "What's wrong? Feeling a little angry? Awww... I'm soooo sorry," she snickered, fluffing out her tail mockingly. The black she-cat ignored the trail of blood that fell down her back, and she dashed from side to side, violet eyes blazing.

The young apprentice had gotten angry enough to slice a kit open and feed it to wolves. He had fallen as a play piece of Scarlet now. He may be getting better, but the more he did, the better she could practically curl him around her paw-tips.

Coldpaw crouched, blood dripping from long wounds on his face. But he wasn't done yet. With the hunger of battle raging in his eyes, he knew this wasn't simple anymore. He roared. "Shut up!" He snarled, unsheathing his claws as long as possible and narrowing his eyes. He smashed head first into her side, before crouching, tail swinging, and darting towards her, claws outstretched for a serious blow. But he underestimates her.

Scarlet staggered to the side, and glared at him. Grinning slyly at his angered demand, she scraped her claws against the ground to sharpen them. Too bad for Coldpaw that he got too close. She struck his throat swiftly, blood exploding from where her paw hit. She glared, eyes burning into his.

Coldpaw coughed, blood leaking from his wounds. He slowly raised his head, glaring at her with bloodshot eyes. He held himself on his feet, but couldn't move or speak.

Scarlet licked her bloody claws. "I suppose that was good, Coldpaw," she said, softening her voice. She finally looked at him with fake concern in her eyes. "Hmm... you got a little something right... there," she said, motioning with a paw, smiling devilishly.
