Meeting with Dawnlight

Stormeye stalked into the clearing of Fourtrees, his long, striped tail flicking behide him. He gazed around the clearing, hoping that his sister would be here. He padded over to the rock where the leaders sat during a gathering and hopped onto it, sitting down. He wanted to show his sister that he was a warrior now!

Dawnlight padded into the fourtress clearing hoping her brother was here. When she spotted the familiar pelt on top of the rock she shouted "Stormpaw!" Unknowing he was a warrior. She started running towards the rock till she stood at the base of it her face shining with happiness. "How have you been?" She asked.

Stormeye huffed as he leaped from the rock, landing right next to his sister. "Stormeye." he meowed, "I'm a warrior now!"

"Oh my goodness! Congratulations!" Dawnlight mewed and purred happily. "Well Stormeye how is it being a warrior?" She asked.

"Fun," Stormeye meowed, ruffing his messy pelt. "It's great being a warrior now that I don't have to do those apprentice jobs, and who knows when I will get an apprentice! We don't have much warriors, but we are getting a lot of apprentices so I might be lucky to get one soon."

"When you don't have a lot of warriors you still have to do apprentice jobs." Dawnlight mewed, "And when it comes to a Medicine Cat you are never done with taking care of the elders." She mewed, "But I don't mind them. They are fun to talk too." She gave a smile.

Stormeye smiled, but then his smiled fade as he thought about the death of Heathersong. "Yea, I would take care of the elders if we had any.."

"We have two but I think they are gonna die soon. They are very old and frail." Dawnlight mewed. "To many cats have died lately. Littlelight, Greyfeather, too many to name.. Shadowclan is in very bad shape."

Stormeye glanced at Dawnlight. "Yea, WindClan is getting more apprentices, but really we only have four warriors, Me, Ravenfeather, Runningfoot, and Butterflystar. Hopefully Icepaw and Shiningpaw will become warriors soon."
