Bluekit awoke with a start. He looked around. When the blue tom tried to stand up, he realized he was on a rock and fell.

Littlelight jumped off and caught the kit, landing stealthily on his paws, "Hello, little one" he purred

Bluekit turned to face his 'savior'. "Thank you!" he meowed happily. "I'm Bluekit of Windclan, who might you be?"

"I'm Littlelight" he started. "... I'm dead"

"Everyone dies sometime." Bluekit stated wisely.

"You think I don't know that?" Littlelight glared at the kit

"I-I-I...You sounded so sad about it and I.." the kit trailed off, ears layed agianst his head.

"Dad, its just a kit" Greyfeather padded beside him "I am dead aswell." she meowed.

"Who are you?" he meowed.

"I am Greyfeather, this is Littlelight" she meowed.

"Those are your names, but who are you?" he meowed.

"We are Shadowclan cats I am Littlelights daughter." she meowed.

"Yes. I was exiled for being with the ThunderClan medicine cat" he began. "I was killed by the ShadowClan medicine cat"

"Okay, that's what I meant. There's not much about me. I'm just another kit in- wait! You're Starclan!" he gasped.

"I know that" Littlelight narrowed his eyes at the kit. "This is where all the good cats go"
