| Moonstar bounded over to the Highstoneorwhateverit'scalled and jumped up. She felt strange up there, it didn't really feel right. She had always been a fairly shy cat, one that didn't speak much, and now she would have to yowl at everyone to pay attention to her? Actually... That didn't sound that bad.

| Smokekit stumbled out of the nursery, tumbling onto his back. A sudden swift movement plopped him onto his feet, almost like he was helped, but it must have been your imagination.
Moving on, the small kit stumbled up to the meeting place all by his lonesome, his fur all over the place with a rather bored expression.

| Spotting the needed cats in the clearing, Moonstar continued. "Smokekit, please step forward. You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Smokepaw. She meowed, pausing a moment before continuing.
"Hopeclaw, please come forward." She summoned the warrior. Turning back to the new apprentice, she spoke again. "Your mentor will be Hopeclaw. I hope she will pass down all she knows to you. Hopeclaw, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received great training from Sparrowflight, and you have shown yourself to be loyal and kindhearted. You will be the mentor of Smokepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him." She finished with a purr. ______________________________________ forever nostalgic
