Sharing Tongues

Bramblepaw looked at Smallkit and his fur prickled with embarrassment. He hoped no one heard Smallkit but him. "I'm not trying to steal her from anybody, and no I don't like her. I only like her as a friend." Bramblepaw whispered to Smallkit. But Bramblepaw knew he was lying. He liked the gray apprentice very much.

Snakebite chuckled, when you lose your sight your other senses heighten. He quited down as Bubblepaw looked at him oddly.

"Sorry if I upset you Bubblepaw." she whispered in his ear.

Sootshadow padded out of the elders' den and right over to Snakebite, "Hello." She purred.

"Hello Sootshadow." Bramblepaw said.

Rainpaw came back with a plump mouse in her jaws. She noticed Bramblepaw whispering something to Smallkit. She padded over to them and purred playfully, "What are you two talking about?"

Bramblepaw abruptidely stopped when he saw Rainpaw getting closer and asked them the question. "Um...nothing."

Bubblepaw smiled,"i-it's on, my nerves are running rampant".

Snakebite turned to Sootshadow and licked her cheek,"Hello love",then he dropped down his voice to a wiper,"I think i'm gonna have some fun with these cats love triangles this Newleaf".

Sootshadow gave a small chuckle, and mewed, "Well that won't be to hard."

"Oh, ok," Rainpaw mewed, oblivious to what Bramblepaw had said to Smallkit. She then began to eat her mouse hungrily.

Making sure no body saw, she gave Bubblepaw cheek a quick lick.

He looked at the two elders and sighed. "I wish Rainpaw could like me as much as I like her." he said in a voice so quiet no one could hear him only a quiet mumble.

Willowkit padded out of the nursery as quiet as she could as she stalked up behind Bramblepaw. She hoped he wouldn't notice her as she tried to mimic all of the times the apprentices had been practicing their hunting techniques. As she got closer, she stuck her tail up in the air and wiggled her behind before jumping for his tail. "I'll get yooouu!" She squeaked as she felt like she was flying through the air.

If there wasn't a fur covering him Bubblepaw would have been burning red with embarrassment. "I gotta go",he said as the tried to walk to the apprentice den, tripping over a root and bumping into the side of the den entrance.

Snakebite turned to Bramblepaw,"Time will tell",he said with a smirk of satasfaction.

"Bye then." she meowed. "Time will tell what?" she asked. "Snakebite, will you stop eavesdropping?" she pleaded, hopeing he didn't hear, like Jayfeather could, her lick the other cat's cheek.
