"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath Highrock."
She called, her voice ringing through the camp but muffled by the thick snow on the ground.

Sarrowpaw appeared first, and bounded up to her. This was Ashkit's ceremony. She bounded up to Silverstar. "Silverstar, my mentor in StarClan told me to let Ashkit train as a warrior until I receive my full name, and then if we still wants to become a medicine cat, take him on as my apprentice." She rasped this out in one breath, then took in a large amount of air.

She said, not really acknowledging her being there.
"The apprentice ceremony for you was done wrong; we did not have someone to train you at paw. I cannot push back Ashkit's ceremony any farther, though. So his destiny is to be a warrior unless StarClan decides otherwise. That is how a regular medicine cat apprentice ceremony usually works. We'll just wait and see."

Duskfur padded up under the Highrock to see what Silverstar had called them about. Soon, she spotted the apprentice, "Hello there, Sarrowpaw. Mind if I watch the cerimony by you?" She purred. Duskfur always felt a bond with the medicine cats- apprentice or not.
