Lost Kittypet is Lost

Badgerfang leaped off of the kitty-pet, glancing at it. Wow, a lot of Kitty-pets were being found on RiverClan territory. "You shouldn't be here," she hissed, her scars gleaming as she showned her teeth at the kit. "The other cats don't like it when a kitty-pet is found on our land."

"Kittypet?" she asked, thinking for a moment, and realized what the cat meant. "Oh. Why did you leap on me? I wasn't doing any harm, just exploring. My idiotic housefolk only let me out in the snow for the first time. I don't like them, at all. I only stay there because of Limey." she meowed at the cat, who seemed nice enough, and for some reason, she decided to completely go all-out on why she was doing dis.

Badgerfang leaned toward the kit, her eyes narrowed. "Because we don't like outsiders on our territory, kittypet." she hissed. The scars on her right eye was clear, even in the snow. "You better get going...unless you don't know your way back."

"I-i-i don't.." she meowed, clearly getting really scared. "I.. i guess i'll leave n-now.." she meowed, and started padding away, shivering.

Badgerfang sighed, and shook her head. "Wait!" she meowed, looking at the kit. "Would you like to stay at the RiverClan camp?"

"U-uh, s-sure.." she shivering orange cat meowed, her fur at the maximum ruffle, making her look about the size of a near-warrior apprentice.

"Hello badgerfang!" Rainwhisper said as she padded over. "Another kittypet?" Rainwhisper inquired.

Badgerfang looked over at Rainwhisper, nodding. "Yea, lets take her back to the camp. She is lost, and I don't want her freezing in this cold. She can stay with me in the nursery." Badgerfang turned around and padded away, flicking her tail to tell the kit and Rainwhisker to follow her.

Naringi followed, still shivering heavily, and sneezed loudly.

Badgerfang quickly stopped, and looked at the kit and let out a sigh. Badgerfang quickly picked up Naringi in her mouth, glanced at Rainwhisker, then raced back to camp, until they were in the camp. She quickly put Naringi down she glanced around the camp. "Sleepystar?" she yowled as she placed her fluffy tail around the shivering kit.

Rainwhisper followed, a bit behind after collecting her prey. She glanced around, looking for sleepystar.

"Who's this?" Hopeclaw said, walking up behind Badger. "Another kittypet? Badger, you need to stop letting them here. You know Sleepystar's not going to allow it." She mewed. Growing older, Hopeclaw had matured- taking her position as a faithful Riverclan Warrior to heart.

Badgerfang looked at Hopeclaw, before looking down at the kit at her feet. "She is just a kit, Hopeclaw, and she didn't know her way back. What should I have done? Left her in the snow to die?"

Hopeclaw thought about it. "I don't know, but we can't be taking in so many kittypets! They're not... wild enough." She said, probably not using the right word for the situation. "They're given shelter and food by their owners- how do you think they'll cope out here? Kittypets can't be trainer like that, Badger. It doesn't seem natural."
