IC: Sleepyyawn waded next to her, knowing what she was thinking. "StarClan gave you your blindness because they thought you needed a bigger challenge. Use your gift, your sight does not matter. Smell the prey's fear, feel them swimming around you."

IC: Silverpaw focused as best as she could. Sleepyyawn was right- fear with the tang of salt, the sound of swishing in the water, the tiny waves splashing against her legs. Without warning, she swiped her paw, and flying in the air was a silver fish, squirming as she caught it in her teeth and bit down, killing it.

Sleepyyawn purred. "Very good! Some land hunting?" Mice were a vital secondary food source in the Leaf-Bare.

OOC: Just ignore the dice again, so we can do your battle.

"Alright,"
She said.
"That sounds much easier."

He waded out and spotted a mouse. "Smell that? Feel the wind, and try to stay downwind. Then you get on your haunches and creep forward." He did the ancient technique. "Then pounce!" He leaped forward, and swatted the mouse aside, where it lay stunned before he put a killing nip to it's upturned neck.

"Sure."
She opened her mouth, scenting a vole. She determined whether she was uhwind or downwind. Downwind. Slowly creeping foreward, she swatted the vole and killed it with a nip.
"How was that?"

"Perfect." He purred. "Let's get to camp, you can eat your catch when we get home."

"Alright! When can I start battle practice?"

Sleepyyawn laughed. "Soon enough."
