❖ Well, here she was hunting again. The good thing was that she rather enjoyed it. After some debating, the warrior decided to do a bit of a hunting spree—to really test out her skills. It was also good practice. Her goal was to try and catch at least two or three prey but if she had to bail for any reason, it would be fine. Hopefully, she'd get something today. Leaf-bare was never kind to her. ღ

❖ After sniffing around for a while, the tabby warrior came across a cardinal just chilling by some bushes. Tsk. Birds were never her strong suit. She had to try, though; She needed to try for the clan. ღ

❖ As soon as she had snuck up to a safe distance, Brook readied herself for a moment then pounced. Here goes nothing... ღ

❖ Eureka! She did it! Thank the stars! Perhaps today was her lucky day after all? She sure hoped so! She needed to destroy that bad luck streak she had going on. ღ

❖ Could she do it again? Well, she had to try her best. The cardinal was now safely buried in some snow near the bushes she caught it at. She'll pick it up once she had decided the hunting was over. ღ

❖ She began to roam around and scent the area. At first, she couldn't find anything else. However, her ears picked up some chittering from one of the nearby trees. Ah! A squirrel! Time for action! ღ

❖ Quickly finding the bushy-tailed creature, the brown-and-white tabby dropped back down into the hunting crouch. It was a bit risky going after this one since it was so close to what she assumed to be its home. She won't back down now. So, she slinked up to it, then, she found herself leaping through the air with claws unsheathed. Let's see if she can form a streak! ღ

❖ The river was flowing smoothly for her today! Another great catch! She was on a roll. It seemed that Brookstone the Mighty regained her momentum. She should probably stop while she was ahead but... nah! One more should do it! ღ

❖ Alright, this was the last try for the day. Let's see if she can manage a three-for-three! ღ

❖ Scenting for the last time, Brookstone walked away from her newly-buried treasure, further than she had been before. She didn't want to stray too far from her catches in case something wanted to steal them. However, it seemed like she was going to have to keep going if she wanted any chance to track down more prey. ღ

❖ It took a few extra minutes to find something but she eventually managed to spot a frog. As she had done both other times, she slowly made her way over to it with as light of steps as she could do. Once she was at a few tail-lengths in distance from the amphibian, the warrior sprang forward. Three-for-three, here she comes! ღ

❖ Holy Starclan! She... She did it! Brookstone the Mighty was back in business! Wait until Stormdance hears about her awesome feat! Wait, no, until everyone hears about her success! Her unlucky streak was gone! Good riddance! ღ

❖ The giddy she-cat snatched up her frog and began to hurry back to her other prey. Today had been the most successful she's been in recent times! ღ
