Smokeykit flopped on the ground of the nursery, hitting the soft moss with a sigh. Being a kit sucked. He wanted to be an apprentice already. Why couldn't Leopardstar just make them apprentices now? He was all for the rules, but she was the leader. The leader's word was law, right? Ugh. She'd never go for it.
He raised his head a little and looked at his siblings. "Guuuyyys. Doesn't anyone know a game? A new game. Not wretched mossball." Smokeykit stuck his tongue out in disgust. Mossball was fine, but it was all anyone ever played. Then, he perked up. "Maybe hide and seek?" He looked around at his siblings for any sign of approval. They were old enough to leave the nursery, now - there would be plenty of good hiding spots around camp, he was sure of it!

Briarkit was stretched out on her back, absently flicking a small piece of moss between her paws as she stared up at the den's ceiling. The nursery, for all that it was crowded, was boring. Briarkit didn't understand how that could possibly be the case, but it somehow was. So when she heard her brother's voice, the patched kit's attention was quick to snap over to Smokeykit. Finally, someone who wanted to do something. "You're tired of mossball too?" She might have had the piece of moss between her paws, but it was that or sleep... And sleep had proven elusive.
Ears pricked at his suggestion of hide and seek, Briarkit nodded. "Hide and seek around camp could work," Briarkit stretched, rolling to her paws. Anything to get out of the nursery was a good thing, she decided.

Cardinalkit yawned in agreement as Smokeykit spoke. Mossball was so incredibly repetitive. Only a couple rounds of passing the little thing back and forth was enough to keep her attention before she wanted to move on to bigger things. Hide and seek, though... that could work. She looked around for a moment as they debated on whether or not to play before shaking her head. The game would never start if they all just stood there talking about it.
"Well? Go hide then!" The impatient little kit told them before closing her eyes. She'd start it herself. "Oneee.... twooo.... threee....."
