Yarrowkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Sablestrike ascended the Jaggedrock, sighing as he reached the peak. It was a good thing that Shadowclan was gaining so many new apprentices, but stars were there a lot. He was practically a master at scaling the rock at this point.

"All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, please gather in the shadow of the Jaggedrock for a Clan meeting!"

Yarrow kit was eager for the ceremony for he believe he was very much ready to begin to start forming his skills and was ready to see what the night would bring.

Turning his head to take in the rest of the camp, Sablestrike saw the warrior that would mentor this new kit. They were both in attendance, which meant the ceremony could continue. Turning back to Yarrowkit, the deputy spoke. "Yarrowkit, please step forward."

"You have reached the age of six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From this day on until you earn you warrior name you will be known as Yarrowpaw. Your mentor will be Badgermask. She is a capable warrior and an amazing mentor. I have no doubts that she is the right mentor for you, may she guide you well."

Yarrowpaw listened to the words being spoken to him with a smile knowing this was the start of his journey. He felt he was ready to begin his training with his new mentor. He pondered for a moment wondering what his mentor was like but he stopped thinking saying to himself he would find out soon enough. Yarrow paw said nothing and simply gave a slow nod of acknowledgement.
