Scorchlight came back after hunting her catch for the fresh-kill pile. Many of the other RiverClan warriors were either hunting, enjoying prey, or resting, so she figured she could do something since she still had energy. She spotted Willowwisp in camp not long ago; in the journey to the lake, she had saved Scorchlight, and Scorchlight expressed gratitude for that. She approached Willowwisp and asked, "Hey, you up for sparring?" RiverClan had to keep their battle moves in shape as war lingered closer.

Willowwisp


Willowwisp looked back at Scorchlight with surprise. She often had a habit of keeping to herself, and so any cat—even her clanmates—coming up to her seemed to catch her off-guard. She blinked at Scorchlight as she considered her easy proposal, and then she nodded. “I would be happy to.”

She walked with Scorchlight out to the sandy wash beyond the camp walls. It allowed for easier sparring without risk of tumbling into rocks or spiky twigs and burrs. Willowwisp held herself tall and then tilted a head towards her opponent. “Since you requested the spar, you may start for us.”

She dug her claws into the ground arriving into a good clearing close to camp the war was coming closer day by day she smiled at willowwisp her eyes glinting with worry yet happiness she remembered when she was a careless energetic apprentice..she missed those days not having to feel like fear would strike her clanmates again.. they and went to the lake a few days ago and they arrived mostly unscathed now war approached what would happen to riverclan next? She snapped back into reality and remembered she was sparring and jumped up in the air with claws unsheathed landing on willowwisp did she claw her too hard?

Willowwisp


Willowwisp anticipated an opening attack since she had invited Scorchlight to begin. Scorchlight bowled her over with a pounce and Willowwisp held her breath to keep the wind from getting knocked out of her. She rolled back up onto her paws and jumped at Scorchlight to bite at her tail and pull back—though she kept the action gentle, not wanting to actually hurt her clanmate.

Willowwisp used Tail Yank, dealing 8 damage and costing 15 SP. Scorchlight is stunned for 1 turn!

[OOC: Spars between clanmates are supposed to be no-claws because otherwise that’s a sign of a Real Fight. I assume it’s just a mistake but if you intended for Scorch to actually claw up Willow you can let me know!]
