Mentor offended by apprentice's yawn, sues Clan for damages [training]

Mistwalker had been surprised by the notion that there was now not one, but two apprentices under her charge. Scarletpaw, a young tom she hadn't interacted much with, being the newest addition. The only logical explanation beyond the simple truth that Riverclan was spread thin on warriors was the fact that her lineage proved some semblance of nobility, of trustworthiness that she now had to live up to. Such was a challenge that she found herself taking in stride, the near carbon-copy of her mother approaching the apprentice's den. "Scarletpaw, it is time." Her voice was rather flat, but it still carried the importance of the matter that would no doubt get the young tom to leave the comfort of his nest.

While she usually sat still in wait, the heat had also seemed to attract swarms of a few bugs. Pesky little creatures, flying around and buzzing in places that were nothing short of annoying. It was one of the very few things to rouse any sort of reaction out of her, an irritated paw raising into the air to swipe at the cloud of tiny gnats that threatened to disturb her peace. At the very least, it seemed to do the trick, scattering them away from where she sat. They dared return a few times, earning a flick of her ear, before she all-together had to readjust. It was perhaps the largest downside of living in Riverclan- the bugs all liked the water.

She didn't like it nearly as much as they did, but hopefully, she could instill a fondness for their namesake in the apprentice she was waiting for.
