The midday sun was high in the sky over the Riverclan camp, patrols were constantly in and out of the reeds but Fawneye found herself sprawled out in the warriors den. She had recently come back in from a hunting patrol that went awry, her paw slipped on a particularly nasty rock in the river and next thing she knew she was nose deep in the water with a twisted ankle.
The ragdoll pathetically licked at her injured paw and pouted out her lower lip, "Why me," she cried, to no one in particular.
Fawneye lifted her head and spotted Owlcall and her eyes lit up, "Owlcall, darling, do you by chance have an extra goose feather or two? My nest is all...out of sorts." she meowed offering her best smile to the new warrior. It had been at least a few sunrises since Owlcall was named warrior but still, he was quite new to her.

Owlcall had been resting in his own nest. Not really trying to sleep but trying to stay out of the heat of the day until it was time for him to go out on a patrol again. His long fur didn't really help and he wasn't really in the mood to swim to cool off either. He was aware of the other warrior in the den with him, recovering from a twisted paw. He was doing his best to keep to himself until his name was mentioned.
The tom lifted his head, looking over at Fawneye. Goose feathers...? No he didn't have any. Not yet anyway. "No. I don't." He answered. He hasn't really had a chance to set up his nest fully yet, considering he was just named warrior not that long ago. He was certain it was only a matter of time until his siblings brought him some feathers. "I'm certain someone else might."

Not really expecting him to say yes, she sighed and nodded her head in understanding, "I suppose they would." she meowed tilting her head, "Are you alright? You seem like the worrying sort." she observed, he looked quite bored but when she had seen him outside of the warriors den he was always looking over his siblings, a feeling she hadn't quite experienced besides for her apprentices. The she-cat was the only kit that survived in her litter, and her parents never had any kits after that so she was the only one.

Owlcall blinked. He didn't understand were her words were coming from. He was just trying to get some rest in the den, and then she asked if he was the worrying type? Sure he wanted to make sure his siblings were doing okay, but he didn't know if he would go as far as to say he was the worrying type. It was only natural that he cared for his siblings. "I wouldn't say that." He shifted in his spot. "It's natural to want to look out for your siblings. If anything I would say Dovepaw is the worrying one." He trusted Dovepaw a lot, but sometimes that tom took it a little too far in his opinion.
