Returning Home [semi-open]

Note: this topic is open to all Thunderclan WARRIORS and APPRENTICES.

It was time. They needed to return home. It seemed as if the forest had stabled out enough, with nothing more than leafbare having settled in. Thankfully, it was mild enough, only light dustings ever coating the territory at a time. Mottlestar was more than thankful for that, and the small tortoiseshell knew it was time to go back to their camp. So there she stood, at the edge of the clearing they had made their home for what felt like much too long. Her tail curled around her paws, and she looked out at the 'camp.' "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather before me for a Clan meeting!" She called out.

As they gathered, Mottlestar would give no pause before continuing. "The forest seems to have calmed enough, and it is time to return to our camp. However, we must scout and ensure it is safe, first. I will be taking any volunteers to come with me, but I require that it is warriors and apprentices only. We cannot risk our elders or our kits. If I catch any that come, they will face discipline. This is for safety." She announced. Her gaze went straight to a few particular cats she was thinking of as she made her statement, but then focused back on the group rather quickly. "I will wait just outside the Hollow, and we will go. Clan dismissed."

So Mottlestar then went to wait, to see just who all would help in scouting and preparing to return home.

Firepaw was the first to step up and offer her services. "I'm available for scouting, Mottlestar." The russet she-cat settled proudly and with purpose outside the Hollow for a partner.
