It was time for another apprentice to head to the Moonstone. With the recent prophecy bestowed upon her and the other medicine cats, Fawnshine could only hope they had some time before the disaster. Still, even if she hadn't been the one to head there to receive a foretelling and clarifying dream from the Stars, the medicine cat held some hope for the apprentice to. Keeping the herb bundle in place, Fawnshine walked to the apprentices' den, heterochromia eyes in search of the specific apprentice.
"Are you awake, Sunpaw? It's time for your Moonstone journey." Not soon after, seeing Sunpaw's figure arise, she set the herb bundle down to his paws. Once he ate them, they could go.
Sunpaw awoke with bleary eyes to a soft but unfamiliar voice. The apprentice stared blankly in front of him for a moment as he slowly registered what was going on. Ah - the moonstone journey. Nightdancer had talked with him briefly about it, but he still wasn't sure what to expect. He stretched for a moment, tail curling, before sniffing the bundle of herbs Fawnshine had laid in front of him. They smelled... well.. herby was the most accurate way he could think to describe it. They didn't taste great - or good - but Sunpaw did his best to finish them quickly and without verbal complaint (though his dislike of the mixture was clear in the way his face twisted at their taste). "Yep, I'm ready."

"I know the herb doesn't provide the best taste. Though, at least, it'll help ease your exhaustion and hunger on the way to the Highstones. Now, let's go." Fawnshine would nod. Having already eaten the herbs earlier, the she-cat would lead Sunpaw out of the camp, and out to the woodland. Soon enough, they'll reach their destination. ---------- She stopped as they reached the Mothermouth, wanting to instruct the apprentice before heading in. "It'll be extremely dark in there. Follow my scent, or the tip of my tail closely. It'll brighten up eventually as we reach the Moonstone." With that, she made her way in, careful to keep a slow pace in case Sunpaw couldn't catch up. The glow of the Moonstone began to show — then illuminated the dark space, and she gestured for the tom to head near it. "Touch your nose to the stone, and StarClan will do the rest. I'll be here when you need me."

Sunpaw followed Fallowshine out of camp, ear twitching in acknowledgement of her words. He was slightly doubtful the herbs would really provide extra strength - sure, you could plaster them onto wounds and make them feel a bit better, but did they really do that much? - but he followed the medicine cat out into the familiar territory of ThunderClan as they padded towards Highstones.

Mothermouth was... dark. It unnerved him. Even if he didn't say it out loud, Sunpaw was sure his fear-scent would give him away. He kept close to Fallowshine's tail, mumbling an occasional sorry when he bumped into her, until there finally came precious light, and he became much more confident. The moonstone was as bright as he could've imagined. He murmured a quick thanks to Fallowshine and padded towards the bright stone. The cave floor wasn't the most comfortable, but as he sunk down and touched his nose to the stone, sleep enveloped him all the same.
A Thunderclan apprentice was certainly a surprise, but then, Swiftspirit had always been one of the more open-minded of her clanmates - if not quite as gullible. Starlight shimmered across her opalescent fur that darkened into shimmery light gray, tabby-striped points on her face, legs and tail as she raced through the trees. The trees hadn't been her home in life, but in death she'd been less content to stick to one simple area, and her curiosity kept her from solely focusing on just the clan she'd joined as a youth, anyways. Tonight though, Swiftspirit was here for a purpose, one that had begun to materialize among the thick, starlit foliage.
"Greetings, Sunpaw," She mewed cheerfully, coming to a stop about a fox-length away from the tabby and white apprentice. "My name is Swiftspirit, I was a Windclan warrior in life - I suppose that must surprise you. Expecting one of your own clanmates does seem to be more typical., though it's never a guarantee. Nothing ever is."
