Dappledlight followed the yellow ThunderClan warrior toward camp. She was glad he had found them, otherwise, they’d most certainly be lost. Her muscles and mind were fatigued and, along with the stinging from her wound, she wasn’t sure how long she could keep going. Though the thought of finding her clanmates kept her going. She hoped that everyone was alright. A shiver went down her spine at the thought of them being hurt or even… dead. The tom led them down a ravine and she carefully picked her way down the slope. She didn’t want to fall again. Dappledlight pushed her way through the brush that was the entrance to the camp. She sleepily blinked and looked around the clearing. They had finally made it back. She felt a tangle of emotions rising in her chest and looked down at her paws. She couldn't make out what they were, but she was just glad to be with her clanmates. Tears started to form in her eyes and she tried to blink them away.

Fawnshine

The more time passed, the more worrisome it was. The ShadowClanners didn't seem like they could leave to return to their territory again. Whether that be from the concern of their possibly still-flooded land, or some still injured and ill, Fawnshine wasn't exactly joyful at their extending stay. Deciding it was best for her mind to take a walk outside, she decided upon so, quietly walking towards the entrance to head up when — two strangers accompanied by her brother entered the clearing. More lost members of ShadowClan, it seemed, from their scents.

With her so-assumed kind manners, she would greet them both formally, acting as if she was glad for them to have been found. "Oh, you must be from ShadowClan, are you not? I'm glad Dayquill has found you. You must be feeling awfully tired." The she-cat offered them a smile. "Surely you must miss your clanmates. I'll wait for you in the medicine den, and you can come after for treatment." The injuries without treatment for long surely had been infected. Red and swollen, anyone could tell. "Your wounds are infected. Call upon my apprentice, Eggdrop, and she can assist you there." Her eyes scanned briefly for the sight of her apprentice.

Though, of course, she didn't leave for the medicine den right away. She would wait for Eggdrop to come over first — then she would steadily make her way over, preparing the needed herbs.

Lightpaw’s head was spinning, but she was safe. That was what mattered. She nodded to the medicine cat, but mostly looked around, searching out familiar faces. It didn’t take her long to find one.

Snowfoot had been in the nursery with her boys all morning and she needed some air. The tired she-cat took advantage of the commotion outside as an excuse to stretch her legs. She wasn’t prepared for what she saw, though. “DAPPLEDLIGHT! LIGHTPAW!” she yowled, tears of joy streaming down her face. She sprinted as fast as her legs could carry her, limping a tiny bit on her sore toe, and lovingly nuzzled her sister and daughter. They weren’t in the greatest shape, but they were alive and that was enough for her. “My baby, my baby,” she whispered over and over again. “And my sister! I thought I’d lost you both!”

Eggdrop

Careful paws trotted close. She peered past the reeds that hung from the deeper part of the den. "Infected?" Eggdrop echoed, tail drooping. With a hesitant glance towards the newcomers, Eggdrop ducked towards Dappledflight. After a small sniff, she nodded and turned to Fawnshine. [color:9e77=E76F51]"Chervil would be ideal." She spoke to her mentor. Though, she already knew Fawnshine understood. It was more for Eggdrop's confidence than an actual order. The scent of the wound was strong and hadn't been treated. Which made sense considering the warrior's struggle.

Making sure to stay out of their reunion, Eggdrop began to gingerly clean around her wounds in an attempt to keep anything else from entering.

The ThunderClan medicine cat approached, Fawnshine if she remembered correctly, and beckoned for her apprentice. She waited for Eggdrop to approach and was startled when a familiar voice yowled her name. She looked up to see Snowfoot running towards her and Lightpaw. She embraced them and Dappledlight let out a soft meow, "Snowfoot, I'm so glad to see you're okay." The whole time they had traveled back to the clans nervousness weighed down on her, scared that the rest of the ShadowClan was gone.
