In the Horizon [Solo]

Torn had found herself back in the twoleg place once again. She found herself venturing here every so often, maybe to find another cat like Cleo to recruit to the order, or just to try her paw at finding food once again. The order needed to be fed, and while she wasn't a hunter, she could still complete both her actual assignment and get some food at the same time. Of course someone as clever as Cleo would be hard to find.

The gold and white rogue had paused in her walking as she her some scuffling. Turning her azure eyes to the source she saw a rat.. Hmm.. Maybe she could eat that to get more energy for her mission.. Or maybe she would take it back for the younger ones.. Either way it worked for her.. That is, if she could catch it. She crouched , preparing to catch the rat.

Of course she failed to notice the other creature that was right behind the weird shiny stump. As soon as she got closer to the rat, the other creature jumped out, screeching at her, lashing out with a quick strike. A raccoon.. Of course it was here. She hissed back at it, lashing out as well.

It seemed this was going to be a bit of a back and forth unless Torn did something soon. She took the hit from the creature before grabbing the Raccoon anyway she could, and pushing it into the ground, her claws digging into the creature. If she could kill it and catch something else, they would have a decent amount of food for the order.

Torn continued to hold the Raccoon down, her claws continuing to dig deeper until the Raccoon gave out. She could feel it go limp beneath her and she stepped away observing the dead creature for a moment before turning away. She needed to at least try to catch something else.

Torn made sure to note where her catch was.. or rather her kill considering she had to fight for it. It might not be the best tasting thing, but she would eat it, and she was certain others would as well. She continued a little ways away before finding a squirrel. Quickly she tried to catch it. She felt the rodent under her paws, and she killed it swiftly like she was taught. She grabbed the fluffy thing, returning to the raccoon to drag her finds back to camp.
