ThunderClan Apprentice Games

Dovepaw padded through the snow quietly, his mind wondering to what he should even try to catch. What would be considered impressive? Honestly in his mind anything in leaf-bare was impressive, but that wouldn't work for winning this game Asylum had set up. He needed something anything.

The white fluffy tom opened his mouth scenting for anything over the general smells of the forest. A croak catching his ear before he finally found the scent considering it wasn't something typical for Thunderclan.. A Frog.. That could be impressive yes? He never really caught one before but it was worth a shot right? Carefully the white apprentice crouched low and crept closer and closer to the frog that was resting low on the tree roots. Once he thought he was close enough he pounced. He felt the slimy creature slip through his paws, just in enough time before it was pinned to the root it was just sitting on. He let out a low his as his ears pressed flat to his head before he moved on to find something else.

Emberpaw padded through the forest with a thinking face. He loved the idea of these games but also knew it was going to get very dangerous with so much compitation. As Emberpaw's brown paws sunk into the snow, He opened his jaw, catching the scent of a hare.

Emberpaw liked the quietness of leaf-bare as he padded quietly towards his prey. In the distance he heard many cats already hunting so he had to get to his hare, fast. As Emberpaw noticed the hare he stopped and waited until the perfect moment to launch.

Emberpaw landed directly onto the hare, killing it in one bite.

Emberpaw buried his hare before padding off once he caught the scent of another one. He quietly stalked the unsuspecting hare, waiting for the perfect time to strike. With his claws out he pounced but made a noise as he left the ground. The hare heard him and ran off.

Emberpaw sighed and padded off to find something else. This was his last chance to get something so it had to count. Just then he saw a hint of green in white and stopped. A lizard was scurrying around in the snow. Emberpaw quietly started to stalk towards the small creature, and when it stopped moving he pounced. The lizard scurried off and so making emberpaw miss, crashing into an asylum cat that he didn't notice was there.

Thistle was just minding his own business in the forest hearing apprentices hunting. He rolled his eyes didn't they have anything better to do than play a hunting game? Suddenly a lizard scurried after him and an Apprentice bowled into him. The tom snapped his head to the tom and hissed slashing an unsheathed paw at the toms face.

Emberpaw hissed in pain as the asylum cat attacked him. He hissed in anger before claw back at the apprentice, wondering why he attacked him. So what if emberpaw landed on him, it wasn't his fault.

Gingerpaw padded through the forest scenting the air for prey. Smelling a rabbit the she cat looked around be fore finally finding it and dropped into a hunting crouch. She stalked forward and then pounced missing it.

Slatepaw looked around the forest and sniffed the air scenting a frog. She looked around before finding it and then dropped to a hunting crouch. She stalked it for a little bit before pouncing missing it.

Emberpaw was exhausted and decided fighting the apprentice was not worth it. He staggered off to pick up his hare before going back to camp.

Emberpaw left the battle and went towards camp with his Hare

Dovepaw let out a huff again that he missed the frog. He didn't want to try to continue considering that others probably caught something better by now but might as well get it over with. The bulky white tom stood again tracking down his next piece of prey. A rabbit.. He never caught one of those either but it was worth a shot.. The tom moved forward like he was taught, leaping for the rabbit when he got close enough. Another miss.. He watched as it scurried off out of his range really fast. At this point he didn't care about rarity, he just wanted to catch something so maybe he should just stick to what he knew.
