In the Shades [Open - Hunting]

Mistyfalcon simply nodded at Batglow, relieved that he wasn't more seriously injured. He was doing his best to ignore the Asylum escort they had, though he couldn't shake the rising resentment he was feeling at their presence. They never helped when it mattered, and would rather sit and let the clan cats take care of any predators the patrols encountered. Whatever the benefits of them being here, this was certainly not one of them.

A lingering moment as Mistyfalcon's gaze swept over the area, before he slid off in search of his own prey again with a flick of his tail. He was careful to remain a bit closer to his companions this time, quickly spotting another vole among the grass. Mistyfalcon stalked silently toward it, leaping and quickly killing the creature before turning back to his patrolmates.

"Of course," Flintstar meowed as Batglow noted that he was fine to keep hunting for a little bit longer, and thanked them for their aid. "Do not hesitate to tell me when you wish to return. Even without the risk of infection, better to have that looked at sooner rather than later." With that, he turned and padded back to where he had dropped his frog in his rush to aid the warrior. He picked it up, finding a place to hide it before he headed out to go hunting once more. However, he was careful not to stray far - determined to be quick to aid either of his hunter companions if any trouble started to arise. He tasted the air, trying to find something but a huff of annoyance escaped him as he couldn't find anything. He knew he ought not be surprised, leaf-bare always meant a lack of prey but it didn't make the reality of being unable to find anything any more pleasant.

Batglow nodded. He understood needing to get his wounds looked at. He wasn't going to take too long. He wanted to at least catch one thing. Carefully the warrior moved amongst the territory. His wounds stung but he kept moving following the scent of another rat. The tall and lanky warrior carefully crouched ignoring the pain in his back as he crept closer and closer to the rat and once he was close, he pounced. His long fangs sunk into the rat killing it instantly. He stood, rat in his maw, happily returning to his leader and clanmate. "I'm good with returning now. I wanted to catch something at least." He could help Rookpaw look at his wounds.
