Give Me Sweet Relief Pt. 2 (OPEN)

Scorchfang padded into camp, followed by the former RiverClan warrior Sweet, who was nervously averting her gaze from any curious eyes that would be staring at her. The ShadowClan deputy stopped in the center of camp and turned to the rogue. ”You wait here while I address Littlestar.”

He left the she-cat in the center of camp and padded to the leader’s den, mewing by the entrance to alert the ShadowClan leader of his presence. ”Littlestar, may I speak with you? This is a matter of great importance.”

Sweet stood where Scorchfang had ordered her to, pawing uncomfortably at the ground. She really hoped she would be accepted into this Clan. This would be the only place she could go; she didn’t think she’d be able to survive all on her own in the wild.

OOC: I'm joining this cuz' this could get pretty intresting

Minnowcall looked out from the den at the cat who where standing in the middle of the camp.
She walked out of the den and sat down, waiting to see what would happen to then unknown. She tasted the air a little and caught the scent of Riverclan, what was a Riverclanner doing here? What if?.. No it can't be, right?..

Littlestar was in her den taking a little time to eat a small mouse. It was nice to be able to relax after such drama and tension-filled past couple moons. She had only taken a few bites out of the small, plump rodent when Scorchfang politely interrupted and was shortly followed by a waft of RiverClan scent. "Of course. What's going on?" She inquired, stifling a sigh and swallowing the last bit of mouse.

Upon exiting her den, her eyes snapped onto a RiverClan warrior who was looking very uncomfortable. Oh StarClan.. What now? Approaching the younger she-cat, she fixed her with a concerned yet cautious stare. "Is RiverClan alright? What are you doing here?" She demanded, her tail twitching somewhat anxiously. Was RiverClan being attacked? But this cat looked alright.. Maybe they needed herbs? Shrugging inwardly, she pushed the racing thoughts away and waited patiently for a response.

Sweet looked up at the rather small, but still intimidating, leader of ShadowClan. She gulped nervously and stared down at her paws, then forced herself to look back up at Littlestar. "I... I am no longer welcome in RiverClan. Ivystar exiled me for breaking the warrior code, but I wish not to tell what I have done, for I do not want to put any other cat's reputation at risk for something that I ultimately did." She forced herself not to shift her gaze over to Scorchfang. "I was cast out and was told that I would be known as dead to RiverClan, but... I can't live the rest of my life as a rogue. That's why I humbly ask to join your Clan. I may not be the best fighter or hunter on dry land, but I like to think I'm good at raising kits, so I could assist any queens in the nursery. I could do anything you need me to if you would just give me a chance to prove my worth."

Nettlesting narrowed his eyes, shuffling to stand behind Littlestar.

Minnowcall sat sitting quietly and lisent to the former riverclanner, Minnowcall knew exactly what Sweet where talking about but keept quiet.

Littlestar listened with a quiet thoughtfulness. She felt for the young she-cat. She had made a mistake whatever it was, though she was sure she knew what it was, and now she was paying the price for it. But no matter how much sympathy the leader had for her, she knew she couldn't allow her to join ShadowClan. It wouldn't end well. She could not afford to anger RiverClan. "Without knowing what crime you have committed and because of ShadowClan's alliance with RiverClan, I cannot allow you to join us. I am sorry, but I must ask you to leave." She meowed solemnly. She hated having to make decisions like this. It broke her heart, and never failed to remind her of Gingerstripe. "Please escort her out." She meowed, directing her attention to Scorchfang. If her assumptions were correct, this would allow them a proper goodbye. She trusted her deputies loyalty to his clan and his mate, so she had no worry that he would do just what he was told. With a tired sigh, she turned and headed back into her den.

Sweet's ears fell and her expression became distraught. "Wh-What? No, please, you... you have to help me! I won't step out of camp, I won't let RiverClan know I'm here! Please, you have to let me stay with you!"

Scorchfang's heart broke for his former mate, but he had to listen to his leader. Besides, she had a fair point: if RiverClan found out they were sheltering her, they would surely get angry, and they couldn't afford a battle, not with how ruthless RiverClan had been to ThunderClan and WindClan last leaf-bare. He nodded respectfully to Littlestar before approaching Sweet. "Come, Sweet, I will lead you out of our territory now."

"No, Scorchfang, please! Don't leave me! Let me stay!" the Clanless she-cat pleaded.

"Sweet, you know I can't. I don't want to put ShadowClan in danger of RiverClan."

"But what about me? Whatever happened to the old Scorchpaw I used to know, the one who loved me?"

Scorchfang jolted, eyes widening, and Sweet recoiled, knowing she had just revealed his innermost secret to his entire Clan. She began to heavily tremble when he glared down furiously at her. "Scorchfang, I--"

"You mean nothing to me," Scorchfang cut her off, his voice low as a growl, full of fury. "Is that what you want to hear? You mean nothing to me. I will not put my Clan at risk for a cat who got herself into this much trouble. Now, will you come with me peacefully to the border, or do I have to chase you out like the selfish rogue that you have become?"

Sweet whimpered brokenly. She took a few steps back, now in complete fear of the one cat she used to love, the cat who showed her love when no other cat in her own Clan would, the cat who was the true father to her firstborn. The cat who had just torn what little remained of her will to live to shreds. Without a word, she turned and bolted out of the camp, and she kept running, even when she fled over the border and towards the only other place she could think of going: Twolegplace.

(OOC: Sorry for the long post, just wanted to build a bit more character development. XD)

Minnowcall walked up to her mate "You did the right thing my love. And remember that I'm never gonna stop loving you for what happend in you'r past." she meowed quietly and nudged him gently. "Hopefully we won't see any more of her." she murmured.
