| Lakewhisper had gathered his patrol of Heronflight and Cinderfall together for just a routine dawn patrol. He was exhausted, of course, what with his constant worry about Snowblossom and their unborn kits, but with also the rampant tension between the clans. It was hard for him to fall asleep, and even if he did, it was fitful at best. Shaking off the cloudy exhaustion, he led his two clanmates to their border with ThunderClan. It was a peaceful morning so far, and he prayed to StarClan it would stay that way.

| Heronflight followed Lakewhisper, hoping for ThunderClan to not start another fight like during the SUnningrocks war. He never was a part of the original war, but he heard tales about it. It scared him, and bringing ThunderClan's medicine cat just caused Heronflight to be even more mad at Ivystar. It was one of the worst moments of his life.
