The First Patrol of a Warrior (CLOSED)

Hailsong left the warrior den quickly and breathed the fresh air with a smile on her face. It was her second day as a warrior and she wanted to work immediately. That was why the small she-cat approached the apprentice den, the place where she used to live and called for some apprentices to come with her. "Guys! I'm going on a patrol. Meet me at the entrance if you want to come."

Mist and Dusk both walked side by side to the camp entrance. They chatted along the way. Soon they reached the warrior and greeted her.

The warrior greeted both of the young cats who were her former denmates and without much words, she led the patrol.

In no time, they were in a common hunting spot where they started to hunt for fishes and land prey. Hailsong approached the river to catch her favourite fresh-kill: fish. But a familiar scent reached her nose. Snarling, she turned her body to a hungry raccoon that was approaching the two apprentices. The she-cat ran toward the distracted animal and tackled it. "Stay away from them!"

Hailsong used Run-and-Tackle, dealing 8 + 3 damage and costing 10 stamina.

IC: Mistpaw jumped and swirled around to look at what Hailsong attacked. He took the opportunity to rake the raccoon's belly. Duskpaw decided to help Mistpaw pin it down and also raked its belly.

Hailsong snarled at the bloodied raccoon and she dealt the final strike, slashing its neck with unsheathed claws. The large predator fell dead in front of her as she tried to recover her breath. She turned her head to the two apprentices with a small smile. "Well, I think we got something better than fishes. Let's bring back this to the camp as prey. I'm sure the clan will love it." And with those words, the she-cat managed to grab the animal by the scruff and she started carrying the body, hoping that the two apprentices would help her too.
