Lakewhisper ignored the younger tom's jab and readied himself for the WindClanner's next attack. Soon he was under the cat's paws and he struggled to free himself. They were almost an even match in size, and he could feel the crushing weight of Lionstorm pressing down on him. He paused for a moment in his struggle to glance around the clearing for Snowblossom just to make sure she was alright. As soon as he caught her snowy white pelt, his eyes narrowed in anger once more. She was fighting the tom from the border skirmish.

He turned his attention back to his opponent with a renewed determination. He would finish this fight. With a sudden burst of strength, Lakewhisper rolled over and leaped to his paws, throwing the tom off of him.

Laurelsong twisted feircely in Viperstorm's grasp, her eyes burning with a mix of anger and determination. No matter what she did though, she couldn't espcae from under the RiverClan heathen's claws. Her chest heaving from furious effort, she screamed into the blue-gray she-cat's face; "You'll never get those herbs, you or your StarClan forsaken Clan! WindClan will not be defeated by the likes of YOU!" Drips of spittle dotting her muzzle, her eyes narrowed venomously.

Laurelsong is no longer stunned

"By remedy, don't you mean cover up until we come to your camp demanding justice? When has a RiverClanner attacked WindClan unprovoked? You're a pathetic excuse for a leader. You call us out for the death of an apprentice in battle, while your ally murdered two cats, an apprentice and warrior in cold blood. Enough with your hypocrisy! At least Blizzardstar had the courage to accept her faults." Ivystar snarled in raged, having enough of this chit chat. She swiped the leader one more time as she was rising to her feet, claws raking through her fur and drawing blood.

She shouted.

Amberpelt's expression shifted when the tom went limb under her paws, her defense dropping with a bit of worry. She hadn't been expecting to harm the tom enough to knock him out - she wasn't aiming to seriously hurt anybody. That was when unfurled, claws slashing across her face as he swiped fast at her. She reared backwards with a shake of her head, a growl escaping her as she swiped back hard. Her paw connected with the side of his face - her claws sheathed but she was certain it was a hard enough blow to have his head ringing as her paw ached slightly from the power behind it.

She took a step forward, her tail lashing as she titled her head. "Run back to your camp, little warrior," she hissed, although her voice has a soft edge to it as she relaxed ever-so slightly. "This fight is over for you. You are here to fight for your own Clan, well I am doing the same. We are just looking after our own, certainly you can respect that," she said in a low tone before she straighten up and stared out the cats around her. All of the enemies cats looked to be fighting their own battles against her Clanmates, and she spent a small moment trying to decide who she would lend her strength to.

Badgerthorn stumbled back from Amberpelt's blow. Almost falling to the ground but he kept himself steady as his vision blurred for a small moment. The tom was panting and tired, he wanted to keep fighting for his clan, but he couldn't any longer. The tom let out a sigh, and dipped his head towards the Riverclan warrior for letting him go before he turned and ran back to camp.

Viperstorm let out a growl. "We need those herbs more than you fish brains do! All you do is run so why do you need them? Riverclan is mightier than you so of course you will be defeated!" The Riverclan warrior released the other warrior, before rearing up on her hind legs and slashing at the Windclan warrior.

Amberpelt glanced over at the tom as he fled, a frown gracing her face but a warmth in her stomach at his respect that she was allowing him to walk away - it was in the code to not take a life unless dire straits. With her opponent now out of the way, her gaze once again fell across the battlefield that surrounded her before it landed on a familiar blue-gray pelt. Her eyes narrowed as her claws sank into the ground, her tail lashing as she remembered what she had told herself before the battle - that she was going to make sure Viperstorm was alright. She wasn't a fool, she knew the way that Snailbelly and her shared glances. The two were clearly nose over tail for one another and she wanted to do right by her son by keeping her safe. She crouched down before she launched herself across the battlefield, nailing the WindClan warrior in a blow similar to that she had done on the tom that had just fled.

Lionstorm grimaced as the smaller tom shook him free, he should have seen the move coming but instead he'd been too eager and paid for it. As the older warrior came in the golden tom went down, everything in his posture screamed defeat, his body going slack, all the fight leaving him. The huge cat allowed his opponent a moment to celebrate the victory before exploding off the ground, heaving up with his body to fling the other cat away, racing forward he slashed down with his paws, adding further damage to his assault.

Amberpelt gave Viperstorm a soft nod as the she-cat ran off to help another Clanmate, spending the time to scan through the crowd again until she spotted Splashwillow wrestling with a WindClan tom. Her breath caught in her throat - Splashwillow looked unprapred to fight back for the moment. With a growl, she darted forward toward the duo, sliding to a stop just barely less than a tail-length out. On swift paws, she spun in place and kicked out with all of her might toward the tom with a hiss. "You leave her alone!" she growled after her blow connected, starting to turn to properly face him with her back arched and ears flat on her head as she hissed.

”Oh how noble!” Brindlewhisker jeered, flashing her teeth in a wrathful snarl as she met Jaystream’s gaze once more. The fresh wounds upon her forehead wept scorching blood into her line of sight, giving the snow-coated battle field an eerie red tint. Every word that the younger Deputy said only fueled the flames of rage that licked at her belly and chest. There was a terrible shrieking in the back of her clouded mind, sounding much like the cries of her Clanmates the last time they had clashed with RiverClan.

”Defending your friend so fiercely- I’m sure that your fox of a mother would be proud! Now tell me little Deputy, would you be so quick to defend that conniving murderer you share a den with?” Brindlewhisker hissed, a mocking tone over taking her ragged words. Rearing up onto her hind legs again, she tore at Jaystream’s face, purposely aiming for his eyes.

Twisting and kicking with the ferocity of a badger, the little calico was bucking around so much that she was certain she would tear the WindClanner’s teeth straight from his skull. Although Amberpelt’s intervention loosened his grip some, it wasn’t enough for her to completely break free. ”Shred him until they can’t recognize what’s left of him!” Splashwillow spit, struggling to twist around so that she could properly glance at Amberpelt.
