so brightpaw is the most BORING out of all my characters and he has no real good plots. i was originally gonna kill him off or cripple him, but why not just ruin him emotionally. as in, something really bad happens to a family member, friend or clanmate that he could of prevented,
OR
he does something stupid and his sibs hate him / distrust him for it

either way, brightpaw is gonna get super sad and pissed off and will leave RiverClan, likely going to be a rogue or loner.

haven't worked out the details or anything, does anyone have any ideas that can help me turn this into a real good plot?

Spotpaw already "hates" him so that's done

Brightpaw could offend each and every one of his siblings, one by one, until it feels like he has no family. Then, some event(like a seemingly harmless insult) causes to snap and leave forever. Then he goes to live either in the barn or the Twolegplace, and could even become a part of Dawnclan.

Maybe Raccoonpaw drowns and Brightpaw could have saved him, but he failed.

He’s gonna offend all his siblings in his own way until he gets super depressed
If you’re fine with that, he could fail save Racoonpaw
And just when he thinks it couldn’t get any worse
SoMeBoDy insults him and he leaves!

I don’t really think Brightpaw would be the type to talk to another Clan, especially ThunderClan cuz they’re kinda at war, but he might actually do that.
