The Aura's Hideaway(open)

A small framed white fluffy she cat was limping her way to the nearest place she could hide. Her usual bright golden yellow eyes were dull with pain. She had encountered a rather nasty rogue whom she had fearfully assumed was working with her parents but that was something she just couldn't be sure of or trust the cat at least. She had a deep gash at her shoulder and her leg that she was limping on had a few smaller clawmark like gashes. She didn't have any problem beating the other cat for attacking her but she knew she needed somewhere to rest and eat for now. To her the farther she was from her parents the better. With white ears glare against her head she found the abandoned barn and half limped half crept her way inside finding a hay bale to relax on at least for the moment. As she laid her head down she thought she heard something or someone and her head lifted.

Mange trotted into the barn, sighing. Buttercup used to live here, he wondered why she left... Getting into a crouch, he started hunting. The barn was as giving as usual, he hoped the clans never took it. Carrying a mouse in his jaws, he noticed Aura in pain. He shivered with his patchy pelt and dropped the mouse, hopping up and the hay bale with her. "Are you alright?" he meowed.

Aura golden yellow eyes blinked for a moment before she felt her fur bristled nervously. She watched the patched tom as he carried a mouse and was quiet. Up until he approached her and she looked at him"no but I'll be fine"She mewed cleaning the blood from her leg wound.

Mange nodded, grooming the sparse fur he had. Then he shivered again. He could handle it, even if he lacked most of his pelt. The tom curled up a little bit away. "Oh, well, what happened? Certainly I can help somehow?"

"Well I got in a fight rather unexpectedly.....i do need food and some herbs maybe ....for my wounds"She spoke looking to the tom fully this time. She flicked her snowy white ear quietly.

"I don't know much about herbs but I can hunt for you around here. I can't eat outside of camp anyway." he meowed, getting up.

Aura blinked looking to him"ok.."She mewed cleaning her wounds the best she could"t..thank you"She mewed lifting her golden yellow eyes to the tom."my...names Aura"she mewed.

He smiled, "No problem. I'm Mange. At least, that's what I've been called since I was a kit." he meowed casually. The tom brought her the mouse he had caught earlier and then began scanning the barn for more among the hay.

Aura blinked and gave a small smile"it's nice to meet you...and thank you"She mewed looking to him before the mouse he placed at her paws. She bit into it quietly smiling some.
