A Patrol for Everyone

Thistleblaze waited at the entrance of camp with her daughter. The gray tabby was leading a patrol and her daughter joined her shortly after Ivyfall told her to lead a patrol. All she had to do now was wait for more warriors to join her and then they could get going.

Nutpaw padded out of the apprentice den, wondering what she should do. She spotted Thistleblaze, and walked up to the warrior's side. "Can I join a patrol with you?" Nutpaw asked politely.

Shellwater padded out of the warriors' den, cold morning air biting through her short calico fur and chilling her to the bone. She needed to move around and warm up. Seeing Thistleblaze, Lightdrop and Nutpaw ready to go on a patrol by the camp entrance, the scarred RiverClan warrior scurried over to them. "C-Can I join you?" she inquired with chattering teeth.

Rainstorm padded up to the group, stretching his legs as came up to them. "It's been some time since I've been on a patrol. I'll join as well," the tom spoke, glancing between the warriors and apprentice. With him, it seemed like the patrol would be ready to head out.

Cinderpaw padded out of the apprentice den closely followed by Nutpaw. She yawned with boredom she saw Nutpaw padding up to the warrior`s side and followed, "Can I come?" She asked tiredly looking at her paws shyly.

Thistleblaze nodded. "You can all come. We are checking the Thunderclan border." The warrior turned and with a flick of her tail lead the patrol out of the camp.

Lightdrop followed her smaller mother outside the camp. She wasn't really one to talk to others, so she was probably going to stay quiet the whole time.

Grinning, Nutpaw followed the patrol out of the camp, excited to see the ThunderClan border.

Cinderpaw`s tail was high in the air as she followed everyone, she purred lightly at the thought of seeing the Thunderclan border.

Alright, ThunderClan border it is. Shellwater nodded at Rainstorm and Gingerpaw before following Thistleblaze out of the camp entrance. She hadn't been to the ThunderClan border in quite a while, actually. She heeded to bring Toadpaw there soon.

Rainstorm held back the rising bile in his throat as Thistleblaze named their destination. With a twitch of his whiskers he followed behind, settling in beside Shellwater. The name still caused his fur to stand on end, even after all of these moons. ThunderClan. A clan full of traitors and disgusting mouse-brains. They didn't even know where their own border ended.

"Let's make sure to mark the border extra well today. They have a history of stepping outside of their boundries."

Thistleblaze nodded. "Alright we will." She said to bring some comfort to the older warrior. She understood his concern though, but she held the same concern towards Windclan. She figured they would cross the Riverclan border faster than Riverclan, but that was her opinion. The gray tabby limped closer to the border. "Alright let's spread out and mark the border, if someone crossed then let me know immediately."

Lightdrop nodded in response to her mother. She turned away to go off and check the border but the older warrior caught her attention. Something about him seemed familiar but she could place her paw on it. She hadn't met the warrior before until he came back a while ago, and they hadn't talked at all. So why did he seem so familiar? The white warrior shook her head and padded on to check the border.
