Border Patrol & Hunting Training/Patrol [TWISTEDPAW]

Minteyes sat at the edge of camp. She had told Twistedpaw to meet her there she had some things to do and he was instructed to come with. She wanted to teach him as much as possible. The better he was with getting around with his paw the better he was going to do when hunting and fighting. She waited for her apprentice.

Twistedpaw came bounding from the apprentice den, his eyes glimmering. Today was the day for more training! He came to a stop right next to his mentor, his eyes glimmering. "What are we going to be doing today, Minteyes?" he shifted from paw to paw, unable to hold in his excitement. He was getting better at doing things with his twisted paw, but he had to learn how to fight or hunt; which was the things he was most excited for.

Minteyes smiled as the young cat bounded out towards her. "Everything." She said covering pretty much what they were going to do. A patrol, a little hunting, basically everything. With that she nodded, "Alright let's get to it." She led her apprentice to start the border patrol. "First a border patrol, where do you want to start?" There were multiple spots where they could begin the patrol and being the nice she-cat she was, Minteyes figured she was let him pick.

Twistedpaw glanced around the moor as he thought of the many places that he could go. He finally settled on one place he had only seen really once. "How about the RiverClan border?"

Interesting, she thought. "Alright let's get started" Trotting off to the border, Minteyes saw a few cats passing the border, probably also on their patrols. Giving a passing nod, they went on with their duties. Slowing to a walking pace, "Alright now I'm not going to give you the giant lecture that your father gave me when it came to borders, but don't cross unless you are invited and only if you are with someone else. Never go into another clans' territory without someone." Now the she-cat knew that he was a smart little tom, but she just wanted to make it clear. "Alright so you've been on other border patrols before, so you know the deal. Other scents within our territory tell Raccoonstar or Falconfang, be aware of other things as well. Like when you found Lavenderkit, you were aware of the things around." She was proud of her apprentice for that. She let Twistedpaw take a good look around the area, she knew there had to be a reason for his picking.

Twistedpaw limped after his mentor, a smile on his face. When they reached the border and started to slow down, he glanced across the borer, listening to every word that Minteyes spoke. "Of course, Minteyes," he responded when she had finished, nodding. He glanced at the river with interest, having never really understood why RiverClan liked water so much; he hated it when he just got wet from rain; but having to swim in water every day? He shook his head with a small sigh. RiverClan cats had to be more like furry fishes to like the water so much.
