Survivors dogs

This takes place after all the books take place, but the same pack. The pack has lived rather peacefully for generations. There has been some fights with foxes and loners of course, but nothing major. All the dogs are living during a time of peace, when one day a strange dog comes, saying your Alpha is dead. Beta asks him what happened to Alpha, but the dog doesn’t answer and runs away. Beta is to become Alpha, but the pack still misses their old one and fear for their lives. The strange dog is still in their territory. And he might be the one that killed Alpha.
