Miss Sadie's Home for Wayward Youth RP

Miss Sadie took a deep breath, brushing the girl's attitude off, "okay, well, since you are our only girl from ages 13-15, I suppose you will have a room to yourself, is that okay with you?" she asked, not entirely caring if she was okay with it or not.

Archer slightly nodded to the girl as he entered through the kitchen doors. It was his turn to take out the trash, so he wanted to finish his chores as fast as possible.

Adam stepped off the No. 9 bus and began his long trek up the driveway. He had his small leather suitcase in hand, and a large duffle over his shoulder. He held his teeth tightly together as he walked, I hope this place is better than the last... he thought, I don't know how much more of this I can take.

"I'm totally fine with it," Natalie replied. In truth, she was more than just fine with it. She had hoped not to have to share a room, the less people close to her the better. She didn't want any backstabbers. She had already decided her favorite thing about this place was the thought of running in the fields.

"Alright then," Miss Sadie turned around to a key rack that hung on the wall beside the steps, she took off a key and then handed it to Natalie. "You will be in room B1, it's on the first floor on the left." she smiled and then turned to walk into the kitchen. "Once you're settled in, come join us for lunch!" she said enthusiastically.

Adam walked up the front steps and lightly knocked on the door, Miss Sadie answered it and began the welcome again with him. His blue eyes sparkled at the warmth that radiated from the pudgy woman.

Natalie nodded in thanks and took the key. She started heading towards her room, observing the house as she went. She wondered what was for lunch. She hoped it was something good, not something only crazy people found appetizing. Once in her room, Natalie decided it wasn't bad. She had it all to herself, after all. She started unpacking. At lunch she would see what the other people were like, and decide further actions from then.

Miss Sadie finished her conversation with Adam and then headed to the kitchen to finish lunch. I suppose I will have to make three extra place settings... she thought to herself.

Adam, key in hand, started to ascend the stairs before him. His room was on the third floor, and he actually had it to himself, he was proud that he was to be trusted with a space of his own.

Archer returned from the garbage cans and began to search the house for something to do.

Jessie rummaged in her suitcase for her black short shorts, it was hot outside. She changed quickly and shed her red plaid and tossed it on her bed. "So Archer is a bit of a flirt huh?" She said as they walked down the stairs.

Jamie laughed, "Yeah, I guess you could say that," she paused to glance down at her feet as she took the last step, "he's only been here for a week, but so far he's attempted to hit on everyone here. And for me its creepy!" she scrunched her face up in disgust, and then turned toward the kitchen. As they entered, she locked eyes with Adam, who was standing in a corner awaiting for Miss Sadie to call for lunch.

Adam leaned against the wall until the two girls entered, his eyes were locked with Jamie, but he wasn't sure why.

Natalie was finishing unpacking, and as she did she thought about what she she would do. She didn't have time before lunch to go running, that was certain. She wanted to get out there as soon as possible though. She would have to wait at least an hour after lunch so she wouldn't get cramps, and there was probably all sorts of 'fun' stuff she would need to do. After unpacking, Natalie left her room and slowly started walking to the kitchen. 
"What's for lunch?' she asked loudly at about half way there.

"Tomato soup and grilled cheese!" Miss Sadie cheerfully said as she brought out a large platter filled with grilled cheese and a bowl full of tomato soup. She gently sat them down in the middle of the table and allowed everyone to get their seats.

Jessie laughed as they talked about Archer and followed her into the kitchen. She smirked as Jamie and Adam locked eyes. She sat down in the place that Miss Sadie set for her unfortunately she sat next to Archer. Jessie didn't move though that would seem rude.

Jamie gave a silent hello to Adam, and then took her seat next to Jessie. She blushed to herself as she looked down at her empty bowl, thinking about Adam.

Archer could feel his clammy hands begin to moisten, as Jessie sat down next to him. He tried to play it cool, by trying to twirl his spoon between his fingers, but miserably failed.

Miss Sadie quickly served the meal and took her place at the head of the table.

Jessie giggled when Archer failed to twirl the spoon and gave him a friendly smile. She was really going to like it here.

Archer smiled, it was the first time rejection felt so sweet. He silently ate his soup wondering how this new life will turn out.

Jessie quietly ate her food as they all sat around not talking in comfortable silence.

As everyone finished their meal, Miss Sadie broke the silence by clearing her throat, "So, everyone has an assigned chore for today, please see the chore board for your assignments." she said cheerfully.

Archer stood up and headed out to the hall to look at the board.

Jamie stood up and waited for Jessie to join her.
