Little Misty Training [Closed]

Mistywater nudged her apprentice, Littlepaw, hoping to wake him up "We'll be training today" she mewed "Its dawn, still a bit dark but I think when we get back it will be about light out" she mewed and she sat down, waiting for movement from Littlepaw.

The black Bengal opened his yellow eyes and yawned. He nodded and got up and followed Mistywater outside.

Mistywater smiled "Hello Littlepaw" she mewed "Would you like to pick your subject to practice on?" she asked.

Littlepaw nodded eagerly. "can we learn how to hunt first?" The tom meowed.

Mistywater nodded and turned around, she felt the cold morning breeze going through her fluffy gray fur. Her eyes were bright and she felt confident for this training session. She then stopped "It might be hard to scent if anything around here gets in your way. We can move if you can't" she mewed, sitting down and signaling the tom about starting to scent for prey.

Littlepaw shook his head. He started to sniff the air trying to catch the scent of any prey around.

Mistywater stared at Littlepaw "Anything yet?" she asked, beginning to scent.

Littlepaw shook his head. "Nope! Nothing yet!" The tom meowed yellow eyes scanning the place for any prey.

Mistywater smiled at the tom as she saw him begin to scan "Good idea" she mewed "We are always able to search in another area in case nothing shows up" she mewed. Mistywater began to think that it was time to move, but, she didn't. She instead waited for a response from Littlepaw.

Littlepaw stopped scanning and looked over at Mistywater. "Ok theres nothing here. Where else can we go?" He meowed.

Mistywater shrugged "What if this happened to you?" she asked "Where would you go? Pretend I'm not here. If you do really need help I will help" she mewed with a smile. She believed that if Littlepaw were out on his own as a warrior, he would know where to find prey.
