Misty eyes (closed)

Everything was hot, really hot entirely too hot for the cool weather it was supposed to be. Mistpaw squirmed in her nest, sprawling across it in an attempt to cool off. But she wasn't, no matter how she fluffed out her fur or sprawled she wasn't cooling off, maybe jumping into the gorge again would do? No- she didn't want to do that again. Stumbling to her paws Mistpaw swayed on her paws, everything seems to turn to black for a moment before fizzling into vision once more. What was that? She didn't feel so good... Pittering outside of the apprentice's den the feverish apprentice embraced the cool air but was quickly overcome with shuddering, shudders so terrible that it felt like her insides were shivering.

Concern made the small she-cat walk towards the warrior's den, her parents would know what to do. Looking at the moon high in the sky she took a deep breath that dried her throat and stepped into the warrior's den silently, every movement making her whole body sway. Searching for her mother and fathers sleeping form wasn't hard since they shared a nest. Stepping over tails and sleeping bodies she made her way to Brindlewhisker and Dewtuft, a paw pressing onto each other their shoulders to wake them. "Mom... dad... I-I'm not feeling too great." the apprentice sputtered, her mind shrouding with thoughts. 'Why can't you just grow up? You're an apprentice now! You shouldn't be waking your parents in the middle of the night just because you're not feeling good!'
