We Must Put Our Differences Away (closed for Tawny, Twitch, Thinny and Dimmeh)

"Let me try. I'm taller, older and stronger than you all are," Tawnystorm said, striding forward. She shut her eyes, and with all her effort, pushed the latch up. The door swung open, and the warrior took a breath. That had been harder than expected, but the more important thing was that they could get out. "Come on, what are you waiting for?"

Cherrypaw backed of, unsure she could jump and land safely. Her pawsteps took her until she bumped into the back of the monster, afraid. "But I can't jump." 

"The worst that could happen is that you die. But that's better than being holed up in a Twoleg den, and it's unlikely, anyway!" Tawnystorm said, matter-of-factly. And with that, the tabby she-cat jumped. She stumbled a little, but quickly regained her poise. "See?" she called out.

Blacktwig nodded, slightly happily, and bunched his muscles to jump out after the tawny she-cat. Like her, he stumbled, yet only a bit more. His limbs wobbled as he regained composure, but then turned and dipped his head back to the exit. "Come on, it's fine." Blacktwig said.

Eaglepaw began to start murmuring again "Well, don't expect us to be the best of WindClan" she whispered as she looked down at the swirling ground. She then leaped out with her paws outreached, hoping to hit the ground softly. She then tumbled over as she then looked up at the monster as it roared in front of her. She jumped up and began to run to try and catch up, waiting for more cats to jump out.

Cherrypaw advanced shyly towards the jump and hopped, rumbling onto the dark two-leg rock. Her nostrils could hardly pick the smell of her companions, and she whitled around in her blindness, afraid.

Flamepaw had been against this the entire time, because the jump seemed far, even if he was a WindClan cat. He followed after Cherrypaw, taking the leap and landing with a slight stumble. After steadying himself, he padded over to Cherrypaw.
"You okay?" He asked, nonchalantly. Flamepaw didn't even consider being concerned about any of the others, he still didn't want to be near rivalry Clan cats, but Cherrypaw was decent.

"Are we all out? Good." Tawnystorm looked around, checking the others. "Any cuts or injuries? Nobody? Alright then. I suppose we head back now."

Without a word, and simply wanting to be back home, Blacktwig was ready to sprint off. But he did give a strangely acknowledging nod, twinned with a gentler glance, at Flamepaw. Some might assume that it was due to the visible tension relieved between the SkyClan apprentice and the WindClan tomcat. But it was because Blacktwig knew, and his heart broke a little inside that the ginger tom, Flamepaw, his own son, didn't recognize him.

Eaglepaw hopped back to her territory, she knew she wouldn't tell a single word about what had just happened today. Only the part where she almost became a kittypet. She had felt so free once she had gotten out of that stupid monster.

She didn't turn about at the rest of the cats, she only kept her eyes on her territory and remembered to not look back no matter what.

Cherrypaw smiled at the tomcat and nodded, then passed by his, their pelt touching, sending an electric feeling inside the she-cat. She brushed of the feeling as she took in the smell of ThunderClan territory. They had probably arrived by the end of Twoleg place. Instead of darting forward, she returned to the AindClan tom and smiled. "I haven't really presented myself. I'm Cherrypaw."

Blacktwig bristled with hostility as Cherrypaw gave a meow. How dare she talk to his son? A she-cat from another clan? He thought, all of the possible sentences racing through his mind. He unsheathed his claws protectively, but he couldn't do anything. He walked ahead angrily, spotting the undergrowth of his territory. He quickened his pace, rather uncomfortably.

Flamepaw nodded when Cherrypaw's introduced herself, putting on a comfortable yet small smile.
"I'm Flamepaw." He said to the she-cat, his amber eyes focused on her differently colored eyes. He had never seen eyes like them before; it interested him.
"Well, I guess we should be heading home now..." He said, looking away from the she-cat and out into the forest waiting for them.
