Life Is Bitter Sweet Tragedies

Mistywater missed being a kit, she never had fun doing it though. She never really spoke she never really went to play games with her brother and sisters and only stayed close to herself, after meeting Swiftheart changed her though, but that was when she was an apprentice, not a kit. She loved her family so much, she loved her mate and her kits, she couldn't wait for her mother and father to meet them all, but not her mate. She would also have to tell the kits their grandma was a rogue and possible would never see her, but their grandpa was different, he was deputy of ThunderClan, well for now.

Beneath Mistywater's belly squirmed a tiny kit, claws unsheathed. He looked up at his mother with radiant blue eyes, so watchful and yet so calm. He wouldn't be like that for long.

Mistywater purred as she looked down to see Blackkit, she smiled "Blackkit! Where are your siblings? What are you doing not playing with them?" she asked, her voice soft with a small act of surprise.

"I'm cold..." Blackkit mewed, a tiny shudder rippling across his spine. His hackles raised and his fur bristled. "Am I supposed to be...?" Blackkit's eyes were beginning to open in an attempt to see his mother.

Mistywater laughed and licked him to warm him up "Your still new to the Clan" she mewed "Your body is used to being in my stomach where it's warmer than the weather out here" she explained calmly, brushing her furry tail against his small black back.

Blackkit let out a tiny yelp as his blue orbs looked upwards at his mother's bright face. "Ah... I see." Blackkit meowed absently. Blackkit paced beneath his mother's watchful eyes. His pelt was laced with thin strands of light.

Mistywater laughed and purred nuzzling him sweetly.

Blackkit giggled. He squirmed a bit once again, nestling up beside his mother. He took in the milky scent of the Nursery.

Mistywater was proud to see her son opening his eyes for the first time, it was weird. She didn't know the color quite since the milky blue cover for the eyes was still there but she would think it would be a blue color, not like her eyes though.

Blackkit blinked. His eyes were vibrant and full of hope, that was true, and he would be eager for nearly everything he was assigned in the future.

Mistywater waited for him to answer her question at the start of the conversation, she asked him again since he might of not caught what she had said "Where are your siblings?" she asked again, stretching out her legs, providing more room for Blackkit.

"Probably playing," Blackkit yawned, curling up into a fetal position. He was getting quite sleepy. "I don't know!"

Featherkit was bored. Bored bored bored bored. Her mother was still inside the nursery with Blackkit who hadn't opened his eyes yet and the other kits were...somewhere with her favorite feather. How dare they? She lashed her tail irritably and glanced around the camp. Obviously, they would be hiding. Deciding to give them a harsh talking-to later when they arrive with the (wrecked) feather, the black-and-white kit made her way back into the nursery.

She padded through the entrance and immediately saw her mother, with Blackkit yawning beside her. He opened his eyes to blink at her. Featherkit made her way towards them and stopped. He opened his eyes. She jumped over the tail of a queen and stopped in front of her mother and Blackkit. And she crouched, peering at his blue eyes with her own narrowed gray orbs.

"It's about time!" Featherkit exclaimed, her tail lashing. It was hard to tell whether she was annoyed or excited. "And such a pretty color for a kit who opened his eyes a few days late too!"

(OOC: Was Dawnkit transferred over to WindClan already? If not, can she join this thread for now? She is, technically, a ThunderClan kit)

Blackkit glanced up at Featherkit, his blue eyes sparkling in the sun with a touch of violet. He got up and arched his back in a stretch, instinctively letting out a shuddering, half-stifled hiss along with it. He appeared to be just the tiniest bit bigger than his sister when standing up. He padded along the edges of the hollow, tail-tip flicking irritably as he attempted a heated exchange with his sister. "Okay, so I was a bit late," Blackkit snarled, "But I'm not trying to bother you right now." Blackkit's mind flashed back to the ferocious calls he had heard, when the other kits left the Nursery with Featherkit's favourite feather.

Mistywater looked as Blackkit "Don't yell" she mewed sternly, her eyes slit her eyes as she spoke.
