Extra Stuff

Backstory: Nothing particularly out of the ordinary, a full RiverClan cats, born in ordinary circumstances. She is an ambitious cat and always strives to be the best, fight for her clan and be a warrior. She grows to become extremely distrustful of others, due to the Dark Forest's reign, and discovering her sister's forbidden relationship and kits.

Notes about Creation: Tawnystorm was my first kitty on this site, and the first OC I ever created, and she's probably my favorite. I like to think of her as a little bit of a self-insert OC - she shares my stubborness, sarcasm, competitiveness and determination. The Tawnystorm you see here on WCC has been modified from her original form, which was originally going to be used in fanfics. In this original form, she had an apprentice named Tanglepaw, who will actually share a name with one of my future cats, and had friends by the names of Redwood, Nightclaw and Honeymist (also more of my WCC characters!). She was originally meant to be quite a cold and unfriendly cat, who took a while to warm up to, and while this definitely shows through in her WCC incarnation, it's not quite as prevailent. She's Tawny's original kitty, and she'll live a long life!

Extra Stuff

Backstory: His mother, exiled after killing several SkyClan warriors, met his father in the Twolegplace, and due to problems regarding prey, they had no choice but to abandon him, chosing SkyClan territory as the place to leave him - they thought he would have a better life here than the Twolegplace. He never knew or remembered his birth parents, who were killed by dogs shortly after they left him, and was then adopted by Ghostpelt.

Notes about Creation: Sunleaf was my second character on WCC. The basis of his character was that I wanted someone who was nearly the complete opposite of Tawnystorm - while she was certain, strong and independent, I wanted him to be doubtful, a little bit of a weakling, and reliant on others, as he doesn't trust himself. I find his self esteem issues quite interesting to roleplay, and I think it's a thing that will make for interesting character development. His theme song, Reasonably Fine by The Cat Empire, was actually part of the inspiration for Sunleaf, which is unusual as I'll normally try and find theme songs after a character's been made. This song's interesting, because even though it's about love ('I love you more than death is real'), it's also about, well hoping for reasonably good things in dark times. It fits with Sunleaf - he's optimistic, but because of his low self esteem, he's always in a 'dark time' in his mind - thinking he can't do anything, but really loves and cares about others, and needs their opinion. Another interesting point is that because he doesn't trust his own judgements, he's easily manipulated- the reason he became a Dark Forest loyalist during their reign.

Felix and Raven were both serious and independent, but Sparrow was a go-lucky, bouncy, energetic, fun cat. The family was out hunting together one fateful day, when Sparrow wandered off from her older siblings. Felix and Raven didn't notice, but as they were returning, they found her body mauled by dogs. They blamed themselves for her death, and never got over it. It changed Raven into a merciless killer, and Felix into a cat who would only ever kill if he was forced to. The two stayed close as loners, before joining the Arcane Alignment.
