More patrolling [Open]

Jayflight sneezed as he waited at the entrance, he turned over to the dens and smiled "Anyone going out of a border patrol with me!" he yowled.

Antpaw trotted out of the apprentice den, head and tail held high as usual. "I'm coming." He didn't bother to ask. Besides, he might as well go on a patrol, he needed one anyway.

Jayflight nodded "Cool" he mewed calmly "Lets wait for more cats to join in" he added.

Elkheart noticed the pair of cats by the entrance and figured that they would be patrolling. He arched his back in a long stretch and walked out of the warriors den over to them. "Mind if I join?" he asked politely.

Jayflight shook his head "Nothing wrong with more cats" he murmured.

Bump? (sorry, I don't think I can do it yet but I guess I can....)

Giving a nod to Elkheart, he looked back to Jayflight. "Can we go now?" The small black cat meowed in a somewhat bored tone to the warrior.

Jayflight shrugged "Three is good" he muttered "Let's start..." he started to walk out of camp.

Elkheart followed closely behind Jayflight into the territory.

Following the two warriors out of camp, he thought about the day. Maybe some hunting or training. Antpaw wondered what the warrior's had in store for him. Then again, it's not like I need any more training. Walking in silence for a while, the silence was too much. "So, shall we patrol the borders first and then hunt?" He asked Jayflight.

Jayflight nodded "That would be best, we just need to stay clear of ThunderClan" he mewed as he stopped when they were at the border. He began to mark his scent over any part of the territory he could scent.

Elkheart went over to a tree that hadn't been marked in a while, and put Skyclan scent on it.

Watching the warriors, Antpaw did the same a few fox lengths away. When they were done scenting the borders, he sniffed the air for any signs of prey.

Jayflight stopped rubbing against the trees as it started to hurt his pelt, he scented a toad (totally a ref to one of my cats ;)). He soon found the brown, plump, and slimy thing, he stalked it uneasily. Leaping up he dodge the toad and unsheathed his claws, clawing it he killed it successfully and dug a small hole for it to be dropped into.

Observing how Jayflight hunted and realizing he was on his own, Antpaw decided to teach himself some new hunting moves. It's not like I need warriors to help me hunt anyway. Walking a little ways from the two, the black tom sniffed the air. Vole. Crouching down and making sure his tail didn't drag on the marshy forest floor, he crept forward. A fox length in front of him was a plump vole, snacking on a fallen nut. You're mine! Waiting a few moments, he kept still until he thought the time was right. Darting forward, Antpaw caught the vole by surprise but unfortunately, it was ready to run.

Giving a hiss of anger, he chased after the small piece of prey, winding over and under brush. Too focused on the cat chasing it, the vole ran into a tree, flopping down on the ground dazed. This was his chance! Rushing forward, Antpaw jumped on the vole, killing it with a swift bite before it could run away. "Nothing gets away from me." He mumbled, picking the kill up. Trotting back to Jayflight and Eaglefeather with his head and tail held high, he buried his kill by Jayflight's. "So, what now?"
