Patrol for Saltpaw

Feathertail waited by the enterance of Windclan on her apprentice and kit. The senior warrior gave a stretch, and let out a sigh. She wasn't as young as she used to be. She should talk to Falconstar about retiring soon. The warrior didn't know how much longer she could take constantly running around.

"Feathertail!" Saltpaw squeaked, still sounding quite young. That wasn't that surprising though as most of her size was all fluff more than muscle. The white tabby bolted towards her mother and mentor, her fluffy tail trailing behind her and accidentally knocking into passing by cats. "I'm ready."

Feathertail nodded. "Alright then. Let's go." The senior warrior said. She then stood, and walked out in the territory heading for the Shadowclan border first.

Saltpaw followed behind her mentor, sniffing the air for anything new as she wandered deeper into the territory past camp. That was when she scented something gross, it was completely foreign to her. "What's that?"

"Well that is either the Thunderpath or Shadowclan. They both smell pretty bad." Soon the road came into view and so did the marsh. It didn't take long for the warrior to stop so that way they kept a safe distance from the Thunderpath. "That black thing is the the Thunderpath. It's very dangerous because of the monsters that travel along it. They can kill a cat in an instant, so we aren't going too close."
