The old queen narrowed her eyes as she watched Shatteredsoul closely. He already didn't look too happy, but the way he glared at Mosskit made her a little nervous. He had to know that the kit was playing and that it was an accident. All kits did it, even Shatteredsoul when he was little. Her tail flicking up and down behind her, she looked down at her daughter. "Mosskit, look at how dirty you've gotten already! Come here, let me clean you up," she mewed, the playfulness returning to her mood. "And once you're clean you can go back to playing, okay?" In all honesty, she just wanted to get Mosskit away from Shatteredsoul. He could go be grumpy somewhere else.
