That's it. We need a plan!

Emberleaf sat in sorrowful silence as his clanmates bickered. He smiled when Lightfoot spoke; Emberleaf always liked it when Lightfoot was around. The ginger tom nodded when Falconstar delivered his words, then said; "I will agree with anything you say, Falconstar. You know best."

Kestrelkit lay close to his mother, his brown fur untorn but a few tiny scratches. He was napping by his older sister and mother when the argument arose. With an angry squeak, he woke, blinking his eyes and looking around in excitement. He was too young to understand the situation at hand. To him, he was just excited to be out of the camp! Like a warrior! His excitement rose when Falconstar joined the group. He stood in excitement and stared at the old cat with admiration. He was told so much about him. How great he was! How he had a bird name just like him! How he had been leader for many many moons. Kestrelkit already knew he wanted to be just like Falconstar when he grew up. His body almost shook from excitement of being so close to the great warrior, and he couldn't help himself when he interrupted the meeting and ran forward. "Hi, I'm Kestrelkit! I want to be just like you! Leafsnap says you're the greatest warrior to ever live!" he squeaked happily, craning his head to see the whole leader.

Falconstar was surprised at the sudden attention, but chuckled quietly and smiled at the kit who had stepped forward. "Well, Kestrelkit, I'm very flattered. I bet you'll become a great warrior of WindClan." The kits, the future of the clan: that's what they needed to fight for. What they needed to survive for, to ensure their future as well as the clan's. Smiling once more at Kestrelkit, he turned to his clan and called out, "The plan is to go to RiverClan. We will stay there, not long I hope, and regain our strength until we can take back what is rightfully ours. I know that it is not a good place to stay, but we will have to make do with what we can get. But we will not beg. In our time of need, we will take what is needed."

That's what I've been trying to say this whole time. Icestorm's fur laid flat as he sat down. They do have a right to be loyal to Falconstar, he is leader after all. But they still should be trusting of their fellow clan mates. He looked over towards Cedarfur and Smokepelt, noticing they too looked a little on edge.

She purred as her son, Kestrelkit, went up to Falconstar. That's my warrior. It's good to meet your leader.

But at Falconstar's decision of gaining Riverclan's territory, she stiffened a bit. "Will this mean a fight?" She asked, a little nervous. If we must fight for a scrap of territory, how will we have any strength to even hunt? She thought many things in her head, trying to find good outcomes. But she found none. However, she knew her leader knew what to do, and she agreed.
