Thanksgiving Plan

So what are you doing for Thanksgiving

I'm off school, hanging with family and eating:

Small Turkey
Honey Ham with Pineapple
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
Stuffing
Mac & Cheese
Greens
Apple Pie

its monday, i have 2 half days for parent teacher conf. and then 3 days for thanksgiving. i will split my time between my grandmas hause and my great grandmas house (they are on different sides of my famliy.) i kno i will be having turkey i have no idea what else.

I'm just going to get together with my family and try not to die from all the tension between the two halves ^^ And we're getting a big turkey :D

We're saving money, so we're just having the basics-

Small turkey
Potatoes
Rolls
Some other stuff

And we're staying home, but the day afterwards, I'm going to decorate my house and this site for Christmas!!!! (:

My Thanksgiving plan:
Don't celebrate Thanksgiving because I live in Ireland

So what is Thanksgiving? Is it like an early christmas?

Thanksgiving started WAY back in the colonial Americas when the Plymouth settlers and indians came together to share their food and land in a day of peace. c: WAY back in 1681.
Then, colonies all up and down North America started doing it, and it's become a holiday. :3

Today, it's basically where family and friends come together, we make a giant turkey and mashed potatoes and corn and all sorts of good food. We eat together and give thanks for what we have in this life and for our loved ones and everything~


o3o My bros and sister are going to my aunts house.
My friend from down the street is coming over and the two of us will be cooking the dinner. n.n

We'll have Turkey, Garlic Mashed Potatoes~,
Stuffing, Corn on the Cob, Green Bean Casserole,
Sweet Potatoes with Marshmellows, Cranberry Sauce,
Scratched Dinner Roles, and Pumpkin Pie~

x3 And we're going to watch the parade and play Mario Kart all day.
o3o It'll just be my parents and my friend, but it'll be fun. n_n

Had a good Thanksgving. Watched the game and other TV Shows and ate:
