A New Dawn [Open]

A light colored fluffy kit sat a little ways from the entrance of of the nursery. Her name was Dawnkit. She couldn't help that she stood out from the rest of the dark colored cats in the camp, but she wasn't to bothered by that fact. Her green eyes followed a leaf as it drifted down to land in front of her. Being a kit, she jumped on the leaf with a small squeak. Somehow she managed to end up on her back with her paws batting the leaf into the air.

Mudpaw padded over to the kit, watching with envy. "Having fun?" he sat down with a smile.

Upon hearing the new voice, Dawnkit froze in her spot. The leaf slowly drifted to the the ground. The kit quickly turned herself over, and looked up at the apprentice in front of her with big eyes. Her long fluffy fur was now covered in dirt and dust from messing with the leaf. Green eyes blinked at the apprentice, "N-no.."

Hoppaw was walking towards his den to see his mother and saw an adorable kit playing with a leaf and of course Mudpaw who had to be here.
"Stop pestering the tiny kit you piece of mouse dung. Go do something useful to the clan." Hoppaw meowed.
"You've pretty much scared her to death with that ugly face of yours."

Hoppaw glanced at the tiny kit. For some reason he felt fond of the kit which was unusual as he would usually want to attack everything and everyone.

Mudpaw took a deep breathe and ignored the mousebrain of an apprentice. "Don't listen to him, I'm not here to scare you. The game your playing looks really fun, could you teach me it?" he gave a sweet smile, laying down to be at the kit's level. "And I actually have a pretty handsome face." he couldn't help but laugh at how naive Hoppaw was.

Green eyes glanced between the two apprentices. Dawnkit didn't really know what to say, she sat up, shaking out her pelt trying to get rid of the dirt, and dust. "U-uhmm.." Show them? "Y-you just lay on you b-back, and t-try to keep the leaf in t-the air.." She mewed shyly. Why were they so interested in her? Her eyes kept moving back and forth between the two apprentices, wondering what they would do next.

Suddenly,from the apprentinces den,Dunekit noticed a kit with two apprentinces. One of the apprentinces was Hoppaw.Well,I want to meet a kit! Nothing will stop me! Dunekit was so happy to meet someone who was his age he never met brofore.He raced to the two apprentinces and the kit."Hi!" Said Dunekit."Who are you??"

Strikepaw watched the new kit with the two apprentices from a distance. Then she watched as Dunekit race towards them. She was more shy than when she was a kit but she didn't know why.

Mudpaw did as Dawnkit told him. "Like this?" he pawed at the sky. "Wow, you know, this is actually fun!" he laughed happily enjoying the day. Mudpaw could see she felt awkward, so he gave a cute smile, showing her he meant no harm.

Her paws softly tapped on the solid grounds. "Um... Hi." She said quietly, her voice tiny and distant. Apparently, she was more of the shy type. She was very friendly, but was never bold or outgoing. "I'm Frog...kit..." She whispered hoarsely. She glanced at the other kit, then stepped up to her defense. "Shut up, Hopkit! Yeah, that's right! I called you Hopkit! You're a selfish, unneeded idiot! Stop pestering the other kits! Can't you tell that she's shy?" She hissed. She was being mindful that Mudpaw was there, and she smiled at him after her words ended. She was growling and purposely trying to get on Hoppaw's nerves. She could take him.

OOC: In a rush atm

So many cats.. Dawnkit didn't like it. She didn't really care for all of the attention. In a slight panic she ran and hid between Hoppaw's paws. She felt slightly more comfortable there, even though the others didn't seem to like him. "I-I'm D-Dawnkit.." She mewed softly to them.

Mudpaw's fur bristled, his temper lost with the blowing wind. Why is this kit so stubborn? All I wanted to do was be friends!

Saddened that the kit wasn't ready to be freinds, Dunekit walked away thinking sadlyMaybe I'll get another chance.Maybe. As he looked back, he did notice that she was hiding beneath Hopkit's paws.What a accomplishment! he thought.

Yet another young kitten exited the nursery. Amber eyes narrowed sleepily, trying to adjust to the light of the outside world. Maplekit had been out before, but after a long time sleeping, he had to get a few moments to adjust. Once he had adjusted, the tom saw the group of cats gathered around. Instantly, he began searching for his littermate. Whom he saw with a apprentice. The others, he recognized from the nursery. Not clearly understanding what was happening, the kit trotted around the group towards his sister. Once there, he gave the apprentice she was with a curious sniff before turning to the group head tilted. What was happening?

Hoppaw thought about the situation at the moment. He looked at the kids near his paws and thought about what a bad example he was giving. If there as any chance on having decent cats for Shadow Clan he better set an example. Maybe he shouldn't be to rude at Mudpaw. After all, he poses no harm and he is a bit older than him. There's no point in starting an argument with a kit around.
"My apologies Mudpaw. I am sorry for being unwelcoming to you," Hoppaw said with a smile.

"And by the way Frogdung, if anyones an unneeded idiot around here, it's you. Your just a pain with your aggressive attitude. Stop being so aggressive and lashing out in front of the other kits. If you really want to have a fight with a cat, just walk along to another clans territory. I'm sure you will find some other idiot cats to get along with." Hoppaw meowed in a calm manner.

Hoppaw whispered to the kits,"thats the weird one, she will probably bite so I don't reccommend hanging around her," Hopppaw whispered.
