Two gingers (CLOSED FOR ME & DEW)

"Fallenkit... Fallen... Leaf, then?" He asked, sleepy.

Whitefoot nodded, "Yes, your mother knew the moment you were born that was the name for you. You remind me of all the wonderful times we had before her passing. Once you were born it's as if Starclan agreed with her, they sent a single leaf fluttering from the wind right onto you. My son, you've got a great destiny. You will be a fine warrior in your own time." His mew choked with pride, he nuzzled his sleepy son.

"Wow..." Fallenkit said, his eyes gleaming. "Then my warrior name will be... Um, Fallenleaf!" He said with much joy. "I'll be a great warrior, yeah. Just like you.." He purred, slowly falling asleep. "Story, more?"

Laughing quietly he nodded, "Yes, you will be a great warrior, probably better than me." He mewed softly, hope for his son's future. Tucking himself closer to his sleepy kit he began another story. "How about I tell you about your grandmother?" He wondered if his son would want to know.

"Okay..." The tiny tom said, drifting off to sleep peacefully.

Before he began he noticed his son's breathing becoming slower and deeper. Rasping his tongue to smooth out his kit-like fur he placed his large head on his paws and closed his amber eyes and drifted off as well.

The tom was asleep. He dreamt of fish and dancing lilies and flying robins. He dreamt of catching that first fish, swimming that first wave... Everything. His dreams filled with magic, he purred in his sleep.

In his dreams, Whitefoot was watching his warrior kits with pride as they received their names. And as he chanted their newly deserved names his mate Tansyfoot joined in. He began purring as well, for the lives of his kits.
