Scrumptious Prey For All [Open for SC - Staff Generated Event]

Since a terrible accident with Thrushstar, she'd felt a feeling of grief and sadness that she wasn't there to assist sooner. Shoving away the cruel thought, she let the sweet aromas fill her sharp nose. It seems like every cat in camp is out hunting today! She wondered if it was actually true. Suddenly careless, she trotted forward. There was nothing wrong with anything, yet, she was blind so how the heck would she know? Correction: There seemed to be nothing wrong. 

OOC: Shortness and Bluesong if you could have Deadpaw find Mousewhisker and tell her what happened and stuff that'd be great

OOC: I might just kill Vinepaw I have no use of him.

IC: Vinepaw smiled as he saw a mouse. "Not the best but it will do." He lunged, and with a loud and terrifying snap, his paw was stuck between a mouth of bloody teeth. "GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" He screamed in shock and pain, falling down. "HELP! HELP!"

Marigoldleaf too was caught, and she yelped out. "Please! I'm stuck. Help me!!"

Deadpaw heard yowls of pain and help scattered around him. Deadpaw looked out a frightened yelp and he ran to the closest one, Mousewhisker.
"Mousewhisker! What happened!" Deadpaw yelled with horror. The trap was horrifying.
"There are more cats out in the traps!" Deadpaw looked up, terrified.

"Mom!" Vinepaw screamed in pain, crying and screaming as blood flowed effortlessly out of his legs. His left back one was snapped, and his front right paw was snapped down to the bone. He felt dizzy and tired, but in much pain and agony. "M-mommy..." He managed to muster as he saw her coming.

OOC: Gonna kill 'em.

Deadpaw let out an angry yowl as he raced into the forest after his brother's voice. He found Vinepaw and he began to try to pry open the trap.
"I can't- get it open!" Deadpaw let out a desperate cry.

He snarled, angry that he'd had such an unsuccessful hunt. ShadowClan needed this prey, and their own deputy couldn't provide for them! Leopardfang paced around the small clearing a little bit. Everyone was gone from camp. The scent trails had spread out far and wide over the territory. Surely the entire Clan was out there in the marsh somewhere. Lifting his nose to the air in search of something to bring home, he noticed the strangest sounds coming from somewhere distant. He could have sworn he heard somebody squeal in pain, or perhaps fear. Leopardfang paused in his search for prey and angled his ears, trying to hear more clearly what was going on and where it was coming from.

As quickly as his hunt began, his hunt ended. Magpiewing, impatient from waiting for what seemed like a lifetime, lurched forward, his claws ready to catch whatever critter lay waiting. As soon has his paws slammed down on the grass between the bushes, a large snapping sound came from below him and the fanged beast chomped down on his right paw. The black warrior howled in pain. He saw blood poor out of his leg, but the creature would not let go. Holding back another cry of pain, he began to claw at the set of teeth with his free paws. It was no use, the strange animal had an iron grip as well as an iron body. He scratched until his claws bled, and fell down, exhausted from the fight. Batting at the attacker, he tried to pull his paw back but another intense wave of pain shot through his body and he could not keep his voice from calling out.

"Help! Anyone!" he yowled, hoping some cat was nearby. The entire clan had seemed to be out hunting, someone would have heard him. As he laid, his paw slowly oozing red, he began to hear other similar shouts of pain across the territory. He wasn't the only one. What kind of pack animal was this?

OOC: ooooohhhh boy. Someone free come get Thrush pls ;_; he's chilling in camp like normal thinking everything's perfectly fine

IC: A sudden though raced to her brain, signaling her to receive Thrushstar. Surely he's know what to do. "I'm going to go get Trushstar," She cried, loud enough for her fellow Clanmates to here. 


Dodging the snaps and cracks of the harmful traps and prey, she headed to the direction of camp - by smell. "Thrushstar! Everyone went hunting and now they're all trapped. We need help," She commented bitterly, panting heavily from her jog. 


A tingling sensation of worry and frustration flustered with her crazed mind, her heavy breathing now more shallow, but deep with frantic-ness.

There it was again! There were many, and they sounded like they were cries of pain. Leopardfang raced through the thick pine trees, following the loudest yowl. The scent of blood began to grow very thick and was almost overwhelming by the time he reached the source. Magpiewing's paw was caught, bleeding in some kind of metal twoleg contraption, and Leopardfang was filled with fear and panic in spite of himself. "Uh, um... Let me see if I can help you!" He blurted, sniffing the object and having a difficult time seeing how it had clamped down on the other tom's paw. "What happened? How did this get here?"

Vinepaw looked around frantically at his brother who tried to get it off. The screams dimmed as the blood continued to flow out. "Get.. I-Off...help...." Blood started to trickle out of his mouth and his eyes began to glaze over.

Deadpaw felt adrenaline roar through him. He used his good paw and pressed it on top of the trap. He then grabbed it in his mouth and began to pull and push. He hear a small crack as the trap began to open.

Shimmerpaw yowled in pain as a sharp thing smelling of Twolegs snapped shut on her already injured paw. Blood gushed from it freely, matting her glossy black fur. "Help," she whimpered, in too much pain to yell.
