Spottedstar went out to the Sandy Hallow, having apprentices in tow for her and Specklefur to train. They were the slowest of the apprentices and their mentors couldn't get them to learn. But she was ready to train them. Now she had to wait.

Specklefur sat stiffly next to Spottedstar, her good eye flickering over her repeatedly in concern. "Are you sure I should be fighting you? Your back did kind of break and you know that I'm no light weight or windclan cat." He meowed, her voice gruff as she straightened out her back as much as she could a short purr erupting from her throat as a loud crack sounded from her own back.
