It truly was a danger that they couldn't swim, one false move and they could both drown. Or worse. But now wasn't the time, instead he begun to briskly lick the apprentice to warm her up. The cold was just as dangerous as the water to a cat that was still young.

"Will she be okay?" Cloudpaw asked

"She will be. But we should get her to camp." He spoke between licks, keeping her body temperature even was crucial as she had only recently become an apprentice. She was still young enough to fall prey to hypothermia, especially on a windy day like today. Pick her up by the scruff, he flicked with his tail for his apprentice to follow. They would be heading back towards camp, where hopefully Sparrowpaw would give the all clear.

Cloudpaw was zone out staring to space when Wailingstream pick up Specklepaw and carry back toward camp. Then he snap out of it when a breeze swept by him and he jump to his feet and hurry after them. "Wati for me! I have to no new s to!" He called as he ran to catch up. He dug his claws into ground to get a grip on the land so that he could run faster.

Specklepaw shivered a little. "Why can't I stay?"She asked. Yeah sure, she was shivering to death, but she wanted to learn. She was always eager, like Icetail was when she was an apprentice.

"We need to warm you up, and make sure no water got in your lungs. After a shock like that, you could do with a rest. We can train again another time." Wailingstream mumbled as his jaws remained firmly clamped to keep hold of the young apprentice. He understood her eagerness to train, after all, Icetail and him were just as eager in their youth. But the she-cat needed to rest for now.
